All Gamers?
It's good to know that MGS4 isn't just for MGS fans. I'm a hardcore MGS fan myself but knowing that all my friends (some Noobs to the Kojima Universe) will enjoy this game all the same, makes me even more excited.

I Guess it's Definitely a Game of The Year contender. Will see what the competition can bring.

But for now, MGS4 GOTY.

I bought my PS3 last year for this game
so I'll definitely be picking up MGS4 in 9 hours.

If you ask me, all PS3 owners should get it tomorrow and give Kojima the launch a last game in the great series featuring snake deserves.

MGS4, Resistance 2, GeOW2, and etc., GsOTY. Gamers win hands down. View

Fanboys defintely help
if it wasn't for fanboys on either side bashing and bragging, companies would see no need for improving their product. But the way the author puts it, fanboyism just started out of no where with ps3 fans being the culprits. He fails to realize that fanboyism goes beyond consoles, beyond computers,... When competition first originated, fanboyism was born. So why should it end with us? Go and talk about the rivalry between Hillary and Obama and you'll witness even worse fanboys and fangirls. View

Maybe Sony should have gave Gamespot a Ratchet and Clank Schwag Bag
Think about it, that has to be the buggest reason why the game was given a 7.5. I hope Sony learns their lesson and gives Gamespot a $800 Schwag Bag for all upcoming titles like Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted, Gran Turismo 5 and every other ps3 exclusive. If not, i'm afraid that the highest they might get from Gamespot is a 8.5 (combined).

Well, the guy Gamespot had review it,
looking at his 7 full pages of previous game reviews, the highest score he's ever given to a game is an 8.8 for Call of Duty 3 on the 360, if that's the best game hes ever professionally played, you have to feel sorry for GameSpot. View

It's a good thing those who said the failure rate was nothing more than a myth did not have their way because then a whole lot more people would have been stuck with broken consoles. Even though mine still works 100%, i know i have the warranty to look forward to if anything was to happen.

First of all, the rumor
came from the November 2007 issue # 76 of the Official Xbox Magazine.

Now this supposed rumor buster comes from: 1Pstart.com?

Sounds like another amateur site just trying get some hits.
I mean I could have posted 10 valid opinion pieces under the title, Rumor Buster : No Ps3 Price-cut, on some random website. Does that make it ok for it to be posted on N4G? Although this rumor may not be true, 1pstart does not discredit the rumor completely. If it's definitely worth it, a more credible site would confront the rumor with legit sources. I wonder if Kotaku heard about the rumor.

Lol, WilliamRLBaker, even if I had the chance, this is a source I would have to question.

Well Not Really
Especially since they're comparing the NG2 with the NG: Sigma Demo. Not sure how this affects anything but Kotaku does favor Microsoft a little more than they do Sony explaining why they felt that NG2 looked better. Joystiq even said that the graphics in NG2 was not as good as NG:Sigma, which does make sense because NG2 is still in development.

But in the end, every fanboy can agree that, overtime, games are supposed to get better. Graphically and in all aspects, games should improve overtime. View

Killzone will definitelly be a revolutionizing, AAA title

"How they manage to blend mo-cap with real-time physics is beyond us here at Plat4mer..." - I'm still wondering how.

In the end, this game is already at the top of my list of must buy games for 2008. View
