N4G Beta goes live

Finally, after 5 months of work it was time to get the new N4G site online. The biggest challenge has been to keep all our existing sites going while developing N4G. With only two people working full time on this project (Dragonfly and myself) I think there was never a day when we put in less than 12 hours, but I am not complaining, I love doing this stuff and I don’t think my work days will be getting shorter any time soon.

Since the site is still in beta we will be making some tweaks and changes over the next few weeks. If you have any suggestions on things we can add or improve, please let us know through the feedback form.

I will keep you all updated with the development of the site through my N4G user blog,

1 - We appreciate the work
You two have done a great job with the upgrades here, and I'm eager to see how well it all pans out. I can't count how many times I swing by here daily to see what's going on in the gaming world, and really do appreciate having it as a resource. I'm not really one of the heavy posters here, but definitely want you guys to know how much your efforts are appreciated.

Keep up the good work :)

Yeah definetly, this site looks fabulous, love the new features like the messaging, the ignore button, etc...it's fantastic because now you dont have to litter message boards trying to contact someone on here about something. Thanks alot this seems to be a very good upgrade indeed. I was a little confused by the "News Tips" things at first but it makes sense now. Thank you, oh one question, what's with the degree symbols next to news?

Great site indeed. Let`s certainly hope the flame wars are over, even though a few of the flamecomments can occasionally be fun to read. Regardless of the site and it`s improvements, i think the end to all the flame wars is in the hands of the users. If more people can stay a bit more on topic, and not always bash either PS3 or 360 on every article, that would be one step. This is not directed to you, though to make that clear.

You guy have been doing a remarkable job with the site. I visited this site pretty much everyday for just over a year now, and you guys have taken it in leaps and bounds. Evolution is a wonderful thing.
