So, Dissidia : Final Fantasy is like a melting pot with all Final Fantasy Episode ...
Producer thinks that Stories have their ends, but that's not necessarily true when you've played a game. Producers think After finishing one we can think "It's not over yet!", there's still this part of the game to do, still that they have do...

So it's Like DRAGON BALL Z : Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for the combat, and like Final Fantasy for the scenario ! :) View

I have read an interview where Testuya Nomura said Jecht may not have been the final boss (with Seymour being the mid-boss), but going with Sin would obviously not work.
And he thought if Square Enix chosed Seymour it would be hard to show a proper connection between him and Tidus So they decided the best choice with a solid relation to Tidus would be Jecht.

But I'm not really sure it's the best choice... And why they didn't add Yuna ( Who was in 2 FINAL FANTASY) ???

I they are tuning the original story details behind the characters' births, relationships, interactions. Tidus for example has got some connection with the heroes (Squall, Zidane), whereas Jecht is with the characters of the Chaos side (Sephiroth, garland and Kuja ^^). View
