So the rumors of them dumbing down the game for the sake of the 360 are true.
It is proof that they had to try and make them as close to one another as possible and if they had only the PS3 to work with the game would look even better. The proof is read between the lines here. Too bad too, it would have been nice to see the game reach its full potential.

This is just lame.
First they do a 360 games that dominate E3 and now PS3 games. Sorry, but we know so little about these games and tech that to say that any one company will dominate E3 at this point in time is silly. And to make it even more silly they write multiple articles about each company "dominating" E3. Only one can do so and it is too early to tell who. Please quit this BS.

The last patch fixed quite a bit...
But they left out the air drop glitch fix and hopefully this patch will have fixed that once and for all. It's not that a ton of folks use it but it pops up once and a while and is just plain dumb. At least this shows they are still supporting and are trying to keep up with the fixes. Now all I need is more maps!

That's if the PSN goes down. Heck, the last time the PSN went down it was for ten minutes. I remember the winter of 07 when Live was down over the entire winter break. 5 days down and the world was set ablaze as every Xbox fanboy was forced to see the real world again. It was a crazy time.

That might have been possible a couple years ago when Alan Wake was an open world game but now that it is linear, tough luck. Too bad they had to scale the game down just to make it look as good as they wanted it to ont he console. I wish they would have just dumbed down the graphics and kept it open world.

The demo was great.
Sure some of the dialog was wonky but the overall feel of the game was amazing. I love thrillers so this will fill that gap that needs to be filled. Can't wait for the release.
Edit:
The close up of the characters faces are simply amazing. Nowhere have I seen such detail in a characters face. It is an amazing feat for QD to have done such a great job in animations and detail.

It's nice to see that they are incrementally improving the series graphics but....
It sure would be cool to have that WOW moment if they in fact decided to blast us out of the water with a major improvement in graphics. Nothing in the same category of Killzone 2 but this is shaping up to be pretty good looking.

You typically get that with PS3 fan sites. They find it better to express their true feelings and tell it like they feel rather than the 360 fans sites and their shilling out for the MS corporate standard. In fact, many of the PS sites buy their games to review them so they can show no bias in their reviews. Not so much for the 360 and even Wii sites. I may not agree with the PS site reviews as they are only their opinions but at least I know they are not pandering to the corporation for swag.

I only am stating the fact that MS is the one company to come forward and hype their products and pat themselves on their own backs in order to stir trouble. They typically run with this promotional tactic by slamming the competition and fist pumping their own products yet show little in way of actual footage. Sony and Ninty have simply stated they have games up their sleeves and not to count them out. Secondly, I asked what makes the point that MS will dominate valid. That alone was an attack ont he article that I feel is warranted. The more heavy handed comment here is that the article bases their opinion on the same hype MS has shilled out. That in essence makes this article a little bogus if you ask me. It's just another article based off hype that is written to stir more hype and get the fanboys excited. The one thing it does not do however is help MS produce a product that is worthy of the hype. For that we will have to wait and see when the products are released.

By default, the article is about the other two companies considering that the article is about the 360 "dominating" E3. By saying that the author presumes to say that the PS3 and Wii will have little to offer and that they will not make the cut against the 360. So I ask, is it hype or is it fact? What shows you that the 360 is the obvious bet to make when Sony and Ninty have not even shown their cards?

Played the demo and...
If the demo is any indication of how the game will play then the game will be awesome. The fight screen was intense and the timing had to be spot on. Great title for the adult gamer if you ask me.

Sorry, but isn't PGR5 being developed by somebody other than the original dev and Natal, isn't that more hype right now that actual game? The PS3 is the highest ranking console because...
Demand is high and stocks are low. Shortages in consoles typically spur more sales. It's an odd occurrence but it is the case in many consoles. Sony admitted to struggling when it came to supplying the demand and as they ramp up production we will see more sales. After the release of the Slim and the new price point, the PS3 is the hottest HD console and in some cases, the hottest console period.
