So, what this review says is pretty much that there is a good game underneath but technical flaws mar the experience; in other words, try it, but don't buy it for $60. Wait for a price drop. View

A bit slow on the uptake Davis. IGN and other online publications announced this last week. Nice try though. And I like how you say that this game will give MS an advantage.... Okay, a bit of stretch eh? View

That was not very smart. Try to prove you are not biased by posting a biased blog post. To be honest, I have never thought GT was biased until I read that blog post. View

I got one as well for Gears of War 2. Paying for Live was a turn off, but that Storage Upgrade program with the three months of live free card sealed the deal. Going to look good next to my PS3 and Wii. View

Lol, you are kidding right? I hope for your sake you are. View

Meh. So a sh!tty game is not as stable on the PS3. Not really quite that big of a deal and no real reason to get angry about. EA has been doing very well lately, with their largest title Dead Space performing admirably on both the PS3 and 360. So no, EA is not the devil and no the PS3 hardware does not suck. This is merely a incompetent team making a sh!tty game on both platforms; and an incompetent team on the PS3 produces even more disasterous results. View

Ironic you have a Last Remnant avatar... View

I agree that the game is not that great, but for $30, you really can't go wrong by buying it (I'm contemplating it right now). As for Last Remnant, that game is a complete mess and should have been delayed for more polish. Here's to Tales of Vesperia dropping to $30 next week! If it does, it's a no brainer. View

This is quite old actually. Was announced way back when. Anyway, fast turn around on MS's part. Got my HDD in three days. View

That makes no sense at all. They don't release it in Japan because of timing, but they release it in the US in the midst of MUCH superior titles. Yeah... Right.

Oh, and that Sega rep's comments say nothing about why the PS3 version was delayed. Only why the game was delayed in Japan. View

Lol. Seriously, does this warrant an article? View

I honestly don't see why not. I mean, seriously. UE3 is not exactly gimped on the PS3. Early titles may have been, but more recent titles have been much better; Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe comes to mind. So no, it is not wrong for a PS3 owner to hope for a more polished version. It is possible, depending on how much more time Square-Enix wants to spend on the PS3 version and whether they want to see the franchise become successful on the PS3. Square should have delayed the 360 version of the game IMO: watching gameplay videos have turned me off on the game completely, the screens look fine, but in motion, the constant framerate drops during the battle screen distract from the game and become annoying.

Oh, and to be more polished, a game doesn't need better textures; it just needs to fix the goddamned framerate drops. Ugh. View

I'm more interested to know whether they will actually polish the game for the PS3 and fix the consistent framerate drops present in the 360 version (seriously Square, you guys shouldn't even be releasing the 360 version in this state; just goes to show how desperate they are to make a profit this quarter). Those framerate drops distract from the presentation and one of the reasons why I'll wait until the PS3/PC release to decide whether or not I'll buy this game. If the framerate drops are fixed in the PS3 release, then I may get the game. Though, the extra voice option is nice as some of the English VA is cringe worthy. Also seriously, if you are a 360 owner, you shouldn't accept the framerated drops and just go for Tales of Vesperia this winter if you need an RPG fix. View

Nathan Fillon as the squad leader is pure win. Maybe he is the main character? View

It could be a joke, but it is kind of hard to tell. Also, being in the pipeline does not mean that the game is coming out next year unfortunately. It just means it is being planned. Also, the one Rare game that I want to see is a new Conker. Ghoulies 2, Killer Instinct I could give a rat's ass about. I want a new Conker game from Rare. View

Meh. Unfortunately, DMM was not implemented well in Force Unleashed, if at all (only a few truly breakable objects in the game), and suggests that DMM requires massive processing power that the current generation of consoles lack. Either that or Lucasarts are just completely incompotent developers. Or a mix of both. View

Er, you are a fanboy as well sir. Anyways, I downloaded the demo off of steam and didn't really enjoy it. My reasons are stated below. View

While I don't think this is news, I agree. The Left4Dead demo felt underwhelming. The gameplay felt as if it required no skill and I just couldn't get much thrill out of it as I was just emptying round after round with not much of anything else. I'll wait until full reviews though to decide if I should buy it or not. Hopefully the devs varied it up. View

Idiot article. Developers DO NOT SEE ONE CENT of what MS makes off of Xbox Live fees. MS gets all of it. So your second point is moot. And developers still charge for DLC regardless of whether or not MS charges for Live so again, moot. Your first point can easily be solved with Sony offering a one time fee for a trifecta of MMO type games and not punish people who just want to go online to play a 16 player shooter. Waste of my time. View

I disagree. I believe that it is a great value, especially since Sony loses cash with each console sold. Its ability to serve as a media hub was one of its major selling points to me. View
