In my younger days I spent amply amount of time, effort and money on my game PC. The other factor was I HATED the controller when compared to my M&K. But after getting over the "I HATE CONTROLLERS" hump, I actually do not like playing on a mouse and keyboard anymore. I find the controller more natural and the need to take my eyes off the screen to find my assigned keys is a thing of the past.
Once married, with kids and other more important items on my "Priority List", PC game upkeep become a PITA
So I switched to consoles with a very happy outcome. No more checking specs, upgrading and tweaking just to play a GAME. I am now hooked on the simple method
- BUY GAMES FOR CONSOLE OF CHOICE (360 / PS3)
- STICK GAME IN CONSOLE
- PLAY
And the best part is I know I am getting the most out of my games since all devs and players are running on an even level machine. Rather than a dev on a crazy hi-end box and me trying to play catch up on specs to get the "HOW IS WAS MEANT TO BE PLAYED"
61" 1080p in full surround is nice too .. :-)
