I thought Bill Gates quit a few years ago?

I remember hearing that a long time ago... Guess he had decided to stay until now lol View

Some people don't like to wait that long :).

And I already said how ridiculous this is. If you can solder it. Then solder it. But this way is taking a big risk. View

That was already explained.

If you choose to use your warranty you could end up waiting over a month for you to get an Xbox back. View

Uhh... That sounds like it could cause disaster for a lot of people. I'm sure there's alot more materials in the Xbox that will melt faster then the solder. This seems like a risky maneuver.

Always go with the Solder choice over this one if you actually have a soldering iron. View

Sarick, BrianC6234:

I don't know where your living in the world. But here in Canada and Usa. 3-10mb connections are very common.

And if you go with a internet connection threw your tv cable, you can even get a 25mb connection.

I currently have a cheap 3mb connection. And can download 1gb easily in under an hour. With your simple phone line, people can get up to 10mb connections with some ISP's.

And also, with my ISP. Telus. I get a 60gb monthly upload limit. And a 60gb monthly download limit. But I was told the upload limit is the only one that really matters.

Good connections are getting cheap these days, just in time to grow with the size of data storage. View

I'd love to have one of these. If only I wasn't so poor lol.

It would be nice to skip like 10-20 years in the future and see like a 1TB memory stick lol. Now that would be crazy. And only 5 dolla! XD. View

Yeah it's VERY old, but this person doesn't think so. But this DID come out over a year ago.

But it's still a very cool project. And having it on the news again will allow more people to see it. View

Don't need a Wii. Just a Wiimote which you can buy for fairly cheap. Bluetooth card in your computer. And some infrared lights :P. View

Or... You could get a curved projector screen. A projector. One xbox. Set to wide screen. And one cheap xbox compatible racing wheel.

Tada! And all under 700$. View

Pretty tight. This could make for some pretty interesting 1-player games. Or multi player if you used separate screens. View

Yes. Installing SP3 will give you those older updates. View

Yeah, I surely wouldn't waste that much money for such a small performance increase.

They should be working on making faster cores on the graphics cards. Not seeing how many they can fit on a motherboard lol.

Why can't Intel convert one of it's quad cores into a core for a GPU?

That would be awesome. View

It's less of a beta and more of a Final Test.

The SP3 already went threw closed beta testing. This release is merely to allow a mass amount of people to try it. That way if there's anything they may have missed it will be found.

But it's pretty much a 99.99% Finished product. And you can update to the newer SP3 when it comes out.

I love the performance boost I got from this update. It's amazing. View

That's pretty crazy right thurr lol. 128GB card that fits in your pocket.. Dayum.

Now they just need to do this to an SD CARD! lol. That would be a dream come true. View

Yeah, I guess it also depends on your computer setup.
And also if your one of many people who hadn't updated there Windows in a long time. Cause this SP3 includes older updates as well. So if you had pretty recent updates you wouldn't notice much difference. Or if you have a kick ass computer, there also won't be to noticeable of a difference XD. View

Ah your kidding me..

Enough with the damn games revolving around throwing all the old Nintendo characters together into a game. We have enough of them already, dear god. Sonic and Mario at the Olympics should have been the end of this lol.

(No I'm not a Wii hater. I choose the Wii out of the 3 current Gen consoles XD). (Starting to want a PS3 now tho with all the cool things i'm seeing it get.) View

No doesn't matter if your on the internet. Install might go slower. But not noticeably.

When it's finished you will restart the computer. It will do something quick automatically when you log in. Then it's finished. View

For gamers who want performance. XP will be best for years to come. Because many of us gamers strive to get the most performance out of our systems.
And if sacrificing Vista for more performance is one of our options. Then were going to take it. I know I am.

I know for sure I won't upgrade to Vista in at least 2 years.

Xp allows more performance towards your games and less to the OS.

I already installed this SP3 and it's great. Now where's are DirectX 10 for XP!!!! LOL. That would be perfect :P. View

I didn't choose the title. The creator of the story did.

What they mean is, AMD's poor performance in producing a chip that would be competing with there's. That's why he said Poor. View
