The PS3 definitely has the 360 beat on the first shot there. Has nothing to do with the clarity, because the 360's shot looks like it was taken while the camera was moving. The real difference can be seen on the mountains in the distance. Far more detail on the PS3.

The alley shot, however, is a different story. The shadows, and lighting in the PS3 version is horrible, in my honest opinion. The lighting from the spotlight seems to create a perfect square of crazy-bright light, and then just switch to total darkness, whereas the 360 version looks far more realistic.

just wondering if someone could clarify... how does the ps3 go "up a lil bit higher in HD?" If I could have someone clarify this that would be sweet... might even give me an edge when I'm selling a tv to a customer. View

Someone else who doesn't realize that the fact that they use a blu-ray disc doesn't make it anymore HD than a regular DVD. It's all 'ones and zeros' buddy. View

Amazing how fast opinions of all the sony fanboys switch, the first xbox had a hard drive, ps2 had nothing, but all the little fanboys never said a word and said "oh we don't need it". Look at what happened now, one sku for the 360 doesn't have a hard drive and you guys go nuts.

Stella has mentioned her distaste for the graphics in the beta, which the interview addresses and dismisses; and ACFreeze submitted a report on the article stating that he was reporting the article to Bungie because no reviews are to be released yet, which is ridiculous because at no point in the interview does anyone review Halo 3. It's amazing to me that there are people who comment on this topic and try to tear it apart when it's blatantly obvious that they haven't even read the interview. View

My xbox 360 premium was manufactured in November of 2005. It has gotten a ridiculous amount of hours on it seeing as I play it every day. My system has never had one problem, so the fact that all these people who want to buy a 360 are approaching the older ones like they're the plague is ridiculous. View

Frankly, I'm not about to believe all this 10-12 seconds and a full day of processing talk. Not trying to sound like a fanboy, but I'm definitely not taking a word of this in until there's another source(that's not a sony site) that PROVES no other console can do this.

It's as ridiculous as Ubisoft saying that the new Naruto game couldn't have been done on any other console other than the 360.

The fact is, these sites shouldn't go around writing these articles based on companies trying to curve the latest news in their direction. Has anyone tried 4D on 360 yet? No, So don't say it will take 10-12 seconds when there is no proof. Has Ubisoft tried to make Naruto for the PS3? No, because MS has the rights for the game, so why would they try. Everyone should stop arguing over hopes for the year 2009, and focus on what's going on now. Everyone always gets into such a frantic mood when things like this hit the net, but the fact is, it makes no difference to us. It's how hype machines start, and that's exactly why this information was released now.

If anyone thinks subtle differences like this are what will make or break games in the future, you are sorely mistaken. Imagine a future game review, "Ya, the controls were horrible, the camera was awful, but at one point a dog was eating a bone and it looked like his jaw muscles were actually moving... 10/10!!!!!"
