I've been using Microsoft for years and never had an issue, I've used a MAC and while it has a nice OS at the end of the day, its still just a PC with a shiny plastic case with a good OS installed.
The whole Macs are more succure is one i've been hearing from the dawn of time, and it somewhat false, the reasons why you'd get the impression that Windows is less safe is that there is a greater audience, thus it makes it an easier target for persons who want to cause damage.
If the tables where reversed I can bet you would see the same sort of threats leveled at MACs.
These adverts do nothing but bash MS, they don't even want to show why the Mac would be a better purchase for the fact that if someone was to switch to Mac they'd have to spend a pretty penny.
