wait till you see the game in action. All we've really seen are pre-rendered trailers and teasers over the last few years. When the Digi-Guys finally show off the game running in real-time we'll be able to make a better judgment. View

I liked where you were going with the Halo vs Uncharted comparisons...but I happen to like Viva Pinata. lol. Rare wasn't really aiming for Hollywood visuals there. View

The screens are old
The screenshots they used for their preview are hella old. Like from 2005.

Anyways, I found this part interesting from their preview:

"WarDevil takes place in the distant future and we aren’t too sure of what the plot’s all about but I’m sure it’s the same post-apocalyptic war scenario we’ve seen umpteen times till date. We saw a bunch of humans locked in a battle with robotic creatures and I couldn’t help but shake the whole Killzone 2 vibe I was getting with the game’s art style and overall visuals."

Catch that they are comparing Wardevil's visuals to Killzone 2? That's quite a feat. View

I told you guys
Usually Edge is a bit critical on games, and according to the footage they saw at TGS, Wardevil seems to be living up to the hype. The game running at 60fps in 1080p resolution. I'd imagine the storyline is good too as they are not only producing a game but a full-length CGI film and side anime as well.

Anyways, you guys can expect to see a lot more on Wardevil this month as they are pushing their big reveal. View

Hmm...I don't think that Disney has anything to do with GameInformers redesigned website. I think this Mickey Mouse preview is just a big title exclusive to help with launch of the redesign. View

They game takes place over quite a few cities. The whole point is that you are traveling to Vegas cross country. View

Look at the difference
Look at the difference in character models jacket though between November 08 and the new screenshots:

Image 2 = Sept 09 View

Yeah. They are PC screens, however according to the interview, the "Steel Engine" allows them to develop the title across all three platforms (PS3, Xbox 360, and PC) seamlessly, similar to CryEngine 3.

The first had to build the engine and debug any kinks. Now I think they are just working on the game and we'll see a lot of fine tuning in the next year. I really hope they can get a publisher I would love to see how expansive and free-roaming all the cities are.

We already know that New York and Las Vegas are two complete cities players can move around in. View

I doubt Origo will reveal the game at TGS. It's still got a ways to go. View

I wouldn't say that they are the only site. It's just that Data-Fly isn't ready yet for a full fledged media onslaught so they leak images here and there to let people know the project is still alive. View

They are using the in-game engine. They are not CGI. That's what the characters and environments look like as of now. How many screenshots of Uncharted 2 do you see without the HUD? alot. View

These are early screens. But so far, I think it looks amazing. View

GameDaily has always hated the PS3. It's a fact. View

Well Blade and Soul was originally known as Project M, which I think was listed under PS3. View
