Sorry bud I have to disagree. Graphics were good but not amazing. The ending was a total cop out. (SPOILER ALERT Dont read anymore if you don't want the ending.) not killing master chief is just securing the franchise... Almost everyone I talked to and heard from said "The chief should go out in a blaze of glory!!!" I agree. Keeping him a live is a total cop out and pissed me off. That was the worst part. There are a few other issues I didn't like but, meh, whatever.

The reason people will disagree with you is. Circle strafe jumping is not really skill... Warhawks level of balance is imo far superior to Halos in that. Auto aim only comes within a certain range... Lock on targeting is tough as hell sometimes. Team work is absolutely required to win. Balance between turrets, planes, vehicles and players is great, Scale pacing and design are amazing and graphically its great too. For a 40$ game you cant beat it imo. Halo is a freelance style game. Very rarely do I ever see people work together. When they do it... Is not as cool as I would hope. Combat and squad tactics are rare except in tournaments/parties. Regular online it doesn't work... Here is the truth. Halo is a great party game. Hook up 2 TV's and 8 players. Thats fun... Warhawk is just a better online experience. I however would not really like to have a bunch of guys over and play it like I would halo... View

The reason you are getting disagrees is 2 reasons. It is not 60$. It is 40$. Also the maps get modified depending on how many players are in. You can have a small arena area for 4-8 players. Or a huge area for 32. It can get sectioned off and make you work in different ways depending on amounts of players and such. BTW the largest map in halo I found is the desert. The maps in warhawk are easily 10 times this size... Battles take place in many different areas. Sometimes concentrated sometimes spread out. It doesn't get old with the variety of areas and terrain and everything accessible.

BTW My 2 cents. Warhawk is more fun. I played Halo MP last night for about 2 hours after the campaign... I didn't enjoy it as much as Warhawk... Oh well... I'm gonna try some more later and hope it gets better... View

If you recall right. Warhawk got lower scores for "Lack of single player" by a lot of people. Really its up to you to decide. I honestly don't care as much for online as I do killing friends. Ganging up on them and stuff =P so in that 1 aspect I believe Halo is better. For pacing, scale, variety and control(What I mean by this is nobody Circle, Strafe, Jumps) Warhawk is better hands down. I just beat the game and like I said the ending pissed me off... Total cop out... I could see it coming too... The graphics were fine though. Nothing amazing but from my understanding bungie is a small team... Same time they had MS backing them the whole way... Sooo I dunno...

The game itself was fun. I wont play it again though. Tomorrow Ima get into some serious multiplayer and make my final opinion then... Overall I enjoyed it but don't think it lived up to the incredible amount of hype.

The forge is ok... I played around with it for a while... What else... Graphics are fine though. Some jagged edges and some harsh lag at points... I kinda got annoyed with the whole "Mind projection" thing. The game was linear, short, challenging, fun, I also feel the AI was not what they hyped it to be either... over all good but by no means held up to the hype... AAA? Sure. PS3 Killer? No... Not by a long shot... I mean... Xbox fans can say PGR4 all they want... PS3 owners dont want it with GT4 comin... 360 fans can say Mass Effect!!! FTW!!! PS3 owners will say they can keep it with FF coming out... Overall I think the war is far from over now... Sales will rise for the 360 for the next month or so.. then tapper back down while PS3 revs up...

Warhawk has dedicated servers. They appear as blue in the server list. Player consoles appear as white.

Very well written. You have a strong opinion... Truth is people don't care how innovative or anything it is. They want a fun game. Something they are familiar with. This is just what they want. It will be good.

However with the reviews and buying off comment. I know this has happened before. I have read insiders blogs and know a few guys in the industry and that kinda stuff happens often enough... I remember a story where some guy who was supposed to review a game hadn't even started playing it yet and his boss was hounding him so he could give the game to be reviewed company an answer they wanted to hear. Thats just politics.

Truth is if it got 8.5 avg. Everyone would still buy it. Seriously... This game is looking to be just what gamers want. A little lacking on graphics but thats it really... I am at heart a PS3 fanboy but I will give credit where it is due. Here it is due... I will say from what I see the reviews may be a little high but I think that may be because of hype. In a good way. The game won't let players down.

Wow there are many misguided fanboys on both sides here. I see a lot of ignorance and stupidity... This is supposed to be about halo 3's reviews... Not about PS3's processing power, Not about fair reviews or unfair ones of past games, Not about current libraries on whatever system, Not about whose junk(Console) is bigger... This is about a game. A rather fun and epic looking game that many reviewers say is fun. Some people don't like it... Don't post about it then... Some people do like it... Don't bash others for not... I think this game will be fun. Hopefully very very fun... I think there are many good points in here from many people, albeit off topic, The Console wars will go on. Facts are facts... This game has good reviews, a large fan base, Supposedly gonna make the biggest media opening in history... Cool.

I have so many people in this post on ignore that it nearly kills me. We are all here cause we love games. Many people love halo. The reviews and fans speak for it. Everyone can have respect for the game even if you don't like it. There are many things I don't like about it but I will still play it and I'm sure I will enjoy it. Same with MGS4... Everyone should go out and buy both systems and enjoy all the good games that they both have to offer and not b!tch and moan about them. In the end there is no point. CAuse they wanted 16 Players online. Maybe they thought squad tactics were more easy to do with fewer people. Maybe its optimum for them. Thats the setting they wanted. Small squad based action using tactics and areas in specific ways... Just a guess but I'm sure thats why... Meh I dunno man. I own em all like you. PSWII60 but a Perfect score is a hard drive for me. I think that there are so few 10/10 games out there(SM64, God of War, Soul Calibur 2, Earthworm Jim 1 & 2, Zelda OOT, FF7 I could go into detail on why these games but I wont)... So I am looking forward to this game but no more then COD4 and UT3. It has replay value for me and my friends. Halo Parties and such. Other then that I will beat the game and thats about it... The online doesn't interest me after then Haxx in Halo 2 and all...

I myself don't like the halo add campaign because I now feel that any 14 or 15 yo gamer will feel more connected to veterans that never existed in a war that was made up then they will about real WWII and Vietnam vets... Thats depressing to me...

Truth is everyone on this site is interested in Halo 3 man. Its a possible turning point and a landmark in gaming history. Its huge and in the eyes of most rightfully so. This site is full of 360 fans, ps3 fans and gaming fans. I'm anticipating this game to be good, Even great but perfect really is a hard drive for me... Pacing, Graphics, Sound, Scale, Lieniarity (??? How versatile a game is), all that and more plays into it... It will be fun and exciting. I know this for fact. Fanboys will argue Perfect score. Even 360 fans may think perfect is kinda odd, This is the nature of the arguments...
