Well I remember them saying something about losing the 60GB model. Fazing it out or what not. Maybe this is their plan. That or possibly post Xmas after they rake in whatever money they can. Ummm. Dude I am a huge PS3 fan but NG Sigma had load times. An initial load time that was kinda long while the story scrolled... I think they want you to read it... And sometimes it loads in game for a second or 2 even mid combat. I'm not knocking it I love the game and don't mind at all. I actually really love the game. One of the most amazing combat systems ever created. Its a lot of fun all around but to say it has 0 load times is kinda silly man... View

however best line up in history.... I dunno what full timeframe a "Line up" consists of. It's all subject to personal views. Maybe for the end of 2007 360 has a strong line up with Halo 3, ME and what not but 2008's line up for PS3 is just as strong if not stronger... As far as the past.... I could not say. Like I said. Can a line up be a whole year long? or a few months? a season? or what? Hard call really... The good thing is everyone has good exclusives and good games now and in the future. Great time to be a gamer. As long as you dont buy into fanboyism you'll be set (I admit I am guilty of this too). Just enjoy the now and the good games we all have ;-)

Now the current Gen. Those are most of my Fav games of all time. I owned all those systems and loved them all. I'm only 25 so dont know much pre NES. I had an intelivision but... Not much memory except some cool tank game.

I currently own all 3 systems so making a chocie of which gen. I would have to say for nostalgia SNES. Those were a simpler days of "Jump on head and bad guy dies" Now its... Well pretty involved and I am only getting more and more sucked in as Innovation, Contention, Politics and Fanboyism are all huge and the market is becoming so mainstream its scary. Video games are the next evolution in the entertainment industry and becoming more and more a medium in our lives. In a previous time you would ask someone "Do you watch movies?" Now you ask "What type of movies do you like?" Video games are getting there too. If your a hardcore MMO player, A FPS fanatic or just a guy with a desk job who plays tetris and bejeweled then your a gamer. Its getting to the point of "What video games do you like?" anymore then "Do you play video games?" it's an exciting era right now and we are a part of this medium and its great. View

I think Sony wants to take EU and JPN fast. thats a huge chunk of the market and will make it easy for them to dominate US after that. Well not easy but easier... Japanese gamers will buy the PS3(Edit: I had 360 here originally for some reason... Didn't check what I wrote...) when FF13 is released no doubt. Sony can hike the price to 1000 USD a console there and it will sell as long as thats out. EU is their prime target atm. With those 2 areas taken the US will be an easier grab I think... Could be wrong and would love to see a comment or 2. I believe EU and JPN are pretty anti MS myself. They are also ahead of the curve when it comes to tech and probably can make much more use of a lot of the PS3's additional... stuff... i.e. card ports and hardware what nots.

BTW BC is kinda... Its nice but only games from PS2 I have played on my system were Soul Calibur(That will stop when 4 is released for sure) and GOW 1 and 2. I could just as easily hook my launch PS2 up and play on that. Still runs like a champ. I just dont need to and I like wireless controllers... It still seems to not be a big deal. If you have PS2 games then you probably have a PS2... you buy a PS3 for PS3 games and services... I also feel that running your PS2 games on your PS2 is probably less wear and tear on the PS3... Anyway... PS1 BC is good though I still play FF7 and FF9 so... yeah. Thats my rant. Cheers! View
