there is actually two major reasons for that
first off, apple is being weird and not letting anyone but themselves build their hardware.. second, microsoft is being ga y with their big pockets and paying hardware developers to not put anything besides their products on their hardware, only since the last few years companies like Dell and HP have decided to allow Linux (namely Ubuntu) as an option! and its only in these past years that Linux has had gotten a bigger market share, namely thanks to Ubuntu.. I'm Windows 7 and the Blue Screen of Death was my idea..

Microsoft has that market share because Windows was (note: was, not is) the best OS around back then.. however, they used to have something like 98% marketshare, look at how much is has decreased. Mac is gaining in on Windows, and linux (altho slowly) is also gaining. Hell Microsoft recently saw Linux as a threat while Mac has been a threat for a while. these days more and more people realise a mac exists and i wudn't be surprised if mac has a 15% market share in a few years.

i see that sony has created a PS3Dildo! i can imagine the launch title already: "Fun Times For Woman" with on the box written.. "NEW NO MAN NEEDED THANKS TO THE NEW INNOVATIVE PS3 Dildo! WITH REAL ORGASMS!"

seriously tho? who the hell came up with such a dildo like design :/

yes 360 fans, you CAN use this to bash PS3.. only giving you this permission coz you'd do it whether i say yes or no, so might as well make it my good deed!

FYI, PS3 only gamer.. but this is really ridiculous (if you don't believe me, check my achievements (superaktieboy) vs trophies (superaktieboy)) ;)

also everyone saying no analogue stick.. the point is to remove those analogue stick.. sony wants you to buy two of them in order to be able to use two analogue sticks :/ View

a Halo game where you don't get to play most of the time as Master Chief should not be labelled Halo. besides too many Halo's coming out too quick even though they're not really Halo games (Halo wars anyone? wasn't even developed by Bungie :/).. if any game gets more than 1 game per year, its called miserably milking the game.. it's not like either Mozilla or Sony gonna say "yes we do have plans for that" before they actually decide to announce it lol.. if Firefox is coming to PS3, they will keep denying it until Sony decides they want everyone to know (usually a few days before the firmware update) View

firefox won't come to PS3 as you and i know lol
the closest thing to Firefox we could get on PS3 is the current PS3 browser running on a stripped down Gecko engine.. the Gecko itself has soo many features (addons and themes being the biggest) that Sony will prevent coming on the PS3 to avoid PS3's getting hacked (precaution).. this means that things like the XUL runner won't be there as afaik XUL is only used for drawing firefox specific images on the screen and they're used for addons.. and the interface won't be like Firefox's.. tbh.. its more likely that Sony will implement the WebKit engine rather than the Gecko engine! View

look, you gotta admit x-chat is loooooooooooong overdue, it should have come with the "x-music" which like 1% of the games support the feature (note the exaggeration).. and x-music was implemented nicely but executed poorly, why is it still not mandatory for devs to integrate this feature in order to get the game approved?

however, anyone saying that sony is a c0ck for following MS on features.. what do you exactly expect? its a fight between the two companies.. how do you fight a match between products? by introducing the same features (sometimes with an advantage).. if you were wondering, yes microsoft also does this.. quit complaining, its called strategy.. this is daily life for companies.. MS releases facebook integration for $50 a year, what does Sony do? integrate facebook for free.. Sony says HD isn't HD without a HDMI cable so sony puts HDMI port as mandatory, what does MS do? they make HDMI mandatory AND add free HDMI cable (eventho they removed the HDMI cable later)..
but yeh sony, give us x-chat and make x-music mandatory and you got a free version of Xbox Live, which means that you will shut up more fanboys (yes both ps3 and 360 fanboys).. View
