Only a flat out moron would assume that by me (an Xbox site owner)questioning an unconfirmed (at the time) rumor, I'm saying it's BS to make the PS3 look bad. That's about the dumbest thing I've read on this site. If you automatically take stuff at face value, I pity you and whatever off spring you spawn in the future.

There was NO confirmation when I questioned this article. And loot-ninja and xboxlivenation both get all there news off n4g. So I'm still a little hesitant. View

1. Look at the time of my post.

2. Don't be so simple as to judge my platform preference off my avatar. I run an Xbox site genius. So before you automatically think I'm a Nintendo fanboy, (or PS3 fanboy based on your first reply), think or maybe check my profile.

When I posted my comment, there was no word of this. And the fact that this was a rumor for GH II, gives me the right to question the legitimacy. Now that OFFICIAL word has come out, it's a fair article.

But do you know how stupid you make 360 supporters look when you automatically bash other consoles or call people fanboys without looking first? I doubt a PS3 or Wii fanboy would run an Xbox fansite. Now go ahead and pull your foot out of your mouth or more likely edit your posts so people don't see how ignorant you look. View

Name one successful licensed piece of console hardware.

Apple tried it and failed with Pippin that was licensed to Bandai

3DO failed licensed to Golstar, Panasonic, Phillips

The PSX hybrid failed (It was a dvd player in Japan)

The Sega Genesis hybrid failed (another media player in Japan)

Licensing hardware leaves too many holes and variables for developers. Thus the licensed console fails. View

You just said you found the link helpful. That means it informed you. Ignorant simply means uninformed. It's not like I called you stupid.

And I don't expect them to spend a fortune on updating old games, but at 15 dollars a pop, they could at least address the "new" issues that have arisen from these soft copies.

The fact that people are reading this editorial as a personal attack on the 360 is what I find annoying. People do realize the site the aricle originates from is focused on Xbox and the support of that particular console and brand. View

Ok, so simply put...
You're fine with paying more for a soft copy of a game than you can for the hard copy that's tangible and able to be played on multiple consoles? The fact is that most of these games can be found brand new at retail for 9.99. The biggest issue is that the originals didn't contain any glitches that would crash the console.

In addition, the editorial is an opinion. An opinion based off the fact that indeed many gamers were disappointed that these "Xbox Originals" received no polish prior to being pushed out the door.

The slap in the face comes from saying "There are known issues". Well here's an idea, fix them before you release them. View

The link above is from xbox.com. How can you say that's ok? Read the OFFICIAL RELEASE OF KNOWN ISSUES. Do you think xbox.com was hacked to support a fansite's editorial?

And to put it simply, if Major Nelson (The figure head of MS's PR team) had to post that the originals would not have achievements, that means enough people asked.

It's sad that as a writer for a Xbox focused site, I don't see fanobys who are half as bad as the blind fanboys on here that they can't even handle facts. The 360 is great, but it's not perfect. Stop acting like it is. View

Xbox.com has a full list of faults with these games including clipping and slowdown. There's a list of faults that include crashing the system if you choose certain options in a game. Heyzues man, read official releases before you respond with misinformed BS.

2. Bioware was never owned by or was in anyway a part of MS.

3. MS has first dibs on anything produced by Bungie as per the contractual agreement of the separation that still shows MS having minority ownership of Bungie.

You're right
And to let you know something else that lowers that cost. The publishers don't pay for the advertising half the time. Distributors will pay for print ads getting what's called (co-op) from publisher if they're lucky to get a little help in advertising money to promote a game.

TV ads are handled mostly by hardware manufacturers. That's why you see some multi-platform games that only show one logo or a certain box in a commercial.

The writer needs to do a little more research before rehashing this article that's been written like a million times since the 80's.

Examples:
Halo 3 costs MS 5 dollars per game. The ONLY people who make 1 dollar are the distributor and the retailer. This article is a crock of sh!t. Do not believe it.

Distributors (people who buy from publishers and sell to stores) make about 1 dollar per game.

Retailers make about 1 dollar, but don't feel bad for those cycling stores (GameStop/EB) as they sell the game over and over.

Please stop submitting these bullsh!t articles that screw up people and provide false info. Thanks. View
