A lot of contributors are on a power trip and will report your submission without reason or just because they're bored. I tried to give a detailed description as to why I reported this submission. I hope you don't take it personal and listen to some of the advice. Your best bet is to get your reviews out a little quicker. View

Just Curious
Considering the elitist attitude of some of the contributors, how does the system launch party of a special edition console not apply as news? If someone could explain that, I'd happily delete the story. It's gotten to the point where the attitudes on N4G have gotten pathetic. I find myself as one of the few who actually explain a report. This, I believe is due to contributors being unaware of N4G's rules and not knowing how to explain their reports. View

God of War 3 may very well be impressive. Unless I'm mistaken, games improve over time, so I'd hope GoW3 would be impressive. The man made a statement from his point of view. You can never really argue against someone's point of view. People are stubborn. Look at half the people here. Fanboys on either side will only see things from their angle. View

A desperate attempt
The fact is, one format has to make major headway by this holiday season. If one format (in this case, Blu ray) were able to get everyone on board one team, that format would have a shot at survival. MS knows this and (I think) plans for both formats to fail in the long run. Again, if one format doesn't have a considerable lead by this holiday season, then people will just wait for the terabyte discs in 09. No one wants to purchase a format with no idea which one will be around. People will stick with DVD till 09.

Sony is banking a lot on this media medium. Toshiba is as well, but they're not in the same overall financial trouble that SONY is. Toshiba can hold out, lose this war and still survive. Sony can easily survive despite a loss as well, but it will hurt. Their last hope is to combine the teams before this holiday and before the terabyte discs hit the market. View

While I understand there are fanboys, why is it neccasary to take things to extremes. It comes off as a bit immature. It also comes off as a bold lie. No one would pass on a portable MP3/video player for a dollar, because the price would be incredible. Now we all know that price is impossible due to economical common sense, but why say it? Unless someone was foolish and stubborn enough to actually pass on an insane deal like that. In that case, I'm surprised they could operate a keyboard. View

Coolest idea ever
That would have been pretty awesome. Kinda like the VMU for Dreamcast served as a memory device, but also had functionality of it's own when disconnected. That woulda also made charging simpler.

Also it woulda allowed the ability to watch marketplace content on the go. Why doesn't MS think of these things? View

This is great news for 360 owners and more than likely gamers in general. Publishers want money, so it'll likely be on PS3 at some point. Why does it always have to be a fanboy fight everytime one system gets good news? View

Read all the comments before you respond with PR garbage that Bungie made public. This was already addressed. The story on XF is fact. You can choose to question it, but don't say it's wrong.

Every story XF posts is fact and comes out 2 to 3 weeks before any other outlet. You want to be a 1up.com lemming and only follow the crowd? Read every post before commenting. View

As far as it being on Blu Ray because of FOX, you should ask what Universal uses. I don't know which studio is handling the movie now, the memo XF got didn't say. BUT!!, if it's still the original plans, then FOX is only handling overseas distribution. Universal is handling USA distribution. That was the original agreement. View

Let's see:
XF broke the Halo 3 promotions story before anyone (MD, Pontiac, 7/11)
XF broke the HDD games story 2 weeks before MS announced.
XF broke the PGR4 delay

I love always explaining this. If an independent site like XF gave sources as references, then they wouldn't have sources. The short film BS that Bungie said is a cover. It's ok. No one believed XF when they said GTA IV was delayed, until 1UP published the story an hour later.

You can question XF, but you'll only look like a fool if you say XF is lying. View
