@1.1....If you actually paid attention to dutch hardware weekly sales, it rivals Japan ATM. Japan isn't buying hardware until late November. And 360 isn't selling good in Japan. DS and PSP are selling good, but not great.

After White Knight Chronicles is released on PS3 in Japan, Kotaku will cry. View

The Arcade will not win this console war... mark my words...
This SKU will not impact 360 the way arcade humpers may think. I use the term "arcade humpers" as analysts and pundits who think it's some wild card. It's NOT! When you go in the store, you have to wonder why the other 360's cost so much more. Normal people will do this.

The Wii and PS3 have NOTHING to fear with this SKU. Microsoft should take it off the market or at least put it in stores where the other 360's won't be. Consumers have questioned this cost difference since the "arcade" was introduced. View

Worldwide, PS3 will beat 360 this Christmas. Just like last year. PS3 has all the AAA games. :) View

Yes, October will be a great month for PS3...
But it will be more than just a SPIKE. Momentum for PS3 is up 100% year over year for every month in 2008. After LittleBigPlanet, I expect even more momentum on top of that.

This will also be the first Christmas where we are not in a "format war" and Blu-ray will make huge increases. View

360 sold over 500K last September with Halo 3 at $399...this is a decrease year over year..
This boost will not last long. My guess is Elite and 60GB fence watchers jumped in. That was about it.

Sony as usual had a great month. All those systems with PSP and PS3 the most expensive in their markets. Sony just moves mad systems every month. :) View

Popular? Where in Japan? Hell no. This game is only popular in America (middle America most likely...lol). Playstation has far better franchises that surpass anything Halo will ever will be.

Adam Sessler has made numerous videos about BIGOTS on "Halo Live". These little rascals probably have parents who shout all the hateful bigotry hyped up by a McCain/Palin "moose hunt" rally. That ruins anyones experience.

My brother sold his 360 for a PS3 a long time ago. Halo 3 was gone the day he mulled through that mediocre single player campaign. He owned Halo 2 and never finished it from boredom. Don't think the same guys that were duped into buying it day 1 still have or play the game.

Anyway, this guy makes valid arguments. He has owned every game in the franchise. He seems to mostly hate the fanboyism that hides behind sales to justify the FLAWS. Now with the announcement of an expansion of Halo 3 that you will wait 1 year to play, what do you expect on day 1? Probably more of the same. View

They are trying to throw this "arcade" on consumers. But it's a waste of time and money for consumers.

If you go in a store, wouldn't you wonder why there are two other 360's at $299 and $399? I would. Arcade humpers are either victims of RROD or just plain cheap. View

And for Blu-ray pundits....check this out.....
The Dark Knight is the fourth highest grossing film of all time. Warner Brothers will easily do a $140-180 million dollar (probably more) worldwide advertising campaign for the movie on Blu-ray and DVD. The Blu-ray is currently #1 on pre-order everywhere including amazon.com.

There will be a suprise waiting when pundits find out how much this Blu-ray sold as well as how it helped PS3 sales worldwide. Spider-man 3 had a PS3 bundle last year that was a major success for PS3 and won the format war all in one shot. Disney already has PS3 logos in their internet ads now for Pirate's of the Carribean trilogy Box and Wall-E Blu-ray. "Plays on Playstation 3" logos. If Warner does this for television ads for The Dark Knight Blu-ray, it's a wrap. View

#1 ...it has made 100% increases every month over last year...
Sony will move millions of PS3's this holiday worldwide. They sold 800,000 PS3's in America last December. They will sell 1.6 million this December. 100%.

It has been 100% year over year increases for every N. American month in 2008. The 160GB comes out November 30th. That bundle will sell out FAST. With or without pundits and arcade humpers, they will sell every one they can manufacture.... :) View
