Gears 1 was pretty good. Nothing original, but it was a solidly built game. Gears 2 on the other hand was a pile of crap. I'm still playing Gears 1, I refuse to touch Gears 2 ever again.

I'm an old school Unreal Tournament player. I migrated to Half Life for awhile, but Gears brings back some memories of UT... again, Gears 2 on the other hand highlights every problem wrong with Gears 1 and exaggerates them to a level that made the game a huge mess.

I don't think the PS3 needs Gears, Killzone 2 is 3x the game Gears ever was... in every category. Anyone who has played both will tell you that. View

Unfortunately some unfortunate people are feeling a little "green" at the moment, because they have no games to play and PS3 users are spoiled with them.

Some have no choice but to play reviews, charts, and blogs. The PS3 users can play games. View

This game is freaking awesome. Tight mechanics, absolutely no lag, and noobs with no strategy drop like flies. This is everything MW2 was supposed to be, except better and 256 players to boot.

I played it at work for a few hours... I'm getting this tomorrow morning.

Zipper is back, every other MP game just fell down a notch on the list. View

HAHAHHAHA Who needs a tv, when these bots are the funniest people on earth. This would seriously be hilarious, if these guys actually meant to be funny and weren't suffering from a lack of common sense, along with suffering from delusion.

Check out Wine (Free) for Linux, Ubuntu, BSD, Solaris, Mac OS X, etc... and that is only one of many reasons why you don't need Windows to play a game on a PC... and yes you can run 360 games on a PC without Windows, I've done it many times easily on my system. There's a world outside of Microsoft, little one.

HAHAHAHAH DMason-like players are hilarious in MAG.

Everyone is playing the game strategically, and then you get a Halo Hero running mindlessly towards the opposing squad. The majority of my kills in a match come from DMason or similar players.

Unfortunately MAG requires strategy... you should think about sticking to colourful kiddy games like Halo so you can have a gay time like usual. View

1) The 360 can't handle this, or a comparable game, thus 360 fanboys can't play it, since their moms will not buy them another console. MAG isn't for 360 fans.
2) This requires Skill. MAG isn't for 360 or Wii fans.
3) This doesn't have colourful pink "gay" weapons that will appeal to the xbox live crowd. MAG isn't for 360, and especially not Halo fans. View

People download blu-ray movies all the time. Much like the PS3, it is about getting quality. Sure I wouldn't take the time to download a 360 game, but a PS3 game on the other hand is well worth it. View

1) The PS3 is not lagging behind in sales, in fact it has been outselling the 360 for years.
2) Hacked consoles drive sales in many markets where piracy is rampant. This can add millions of console sales.
3) If they cared about money over customers, a few years down the line they could block hacked consoles like the 360, forcing people to go out and buy a new console. A pathetic weasel tactic, that is only used by a struggling product (the 360).
4) Renting a game does not help out a developer or the console manufacturer. Rentals take away from sales, since you have many people sharing a single copy of their product, who had interest in it and might have bought it. These games are getting so short, thanks to the lack of next generation disc drive in the 360, that a game can be beaten in a day or two, that leaves no reason to buy a game after a rental. View

Stupid 10 yearolds on the internet. I don't think GT5 can "leave" up to expectations, but it will certainly blow Forza 3 away by a fair margin in every category, definitively. It will also LIVE up to expectations, since the bar is fairly low after Forza 3 came sliding at it. View

Alan Wake looks terrible, and that's saying a lot considering how limited the AI is and how the on screen poly count is rather low.

There are better looking games on the 360, which of course means there are many better looking games on the PS3. View
