Yay, they've updated the entire store. Anyone notice the little advert about the store saying "great new look - coming soon!" on the side? (you'll need a widescreen tv to see it I think, since the store has a different layout)

Also, anyone notice that the release date for the new content is 27-Mar-2008 for the new content apart from GT5:P?

EDIT: The disagrees! lol So my eyes are lying to me and the entire store hasn't updated? Then how am I downloading the demo/videos/etc? You can't disagree with a question, so that must be the only thing you can disagree with lol Agree/Disagree isn't the same as Yes/No you know lol :D View

I played this at the Play.com Live event and I have to say that I'm definitely looking forward to this game. It's a must have in my eyes along with the rest of many many games coming out. It's a shame they wont give a date for when this is coming out though. When I asked the guys at the event, all they said was "Spring". Darn. View

Does anyone know whether this is a download only game? I had the impression from previous previews that it'd be available on Blu-ray also. I prefer to have a physical disc rather than a download...

Definitely looking forward to this game though, especially online racing! View

This article doesn't actually state anything about the game being delayed. It merely says that instead of there being a pinpoint day when it'll be released, that it's now just a month. For all you lot know, it could be coming out sooner! Don't be so quick to jump the gun :) View

There isn't an issue in Europe. All multiplat games are the same price on 360/PS3 (apart from the DMC4 example) as they are in the US. All games have a RRP (recommended retail price) which is usually around £49.99 and retailers generally discount this down to £39.99 apart from the few harsh high street stores. So, Sony can't do anything as no retailers charge over the RRP apart from the odd few that might charge the full RRP rather than discount it down like everyone else. View

Yawn. An old article based on something which has already been proven false and then speculates on the quality difference between the games. Sounds like trouble making to get hits to their website if you ask me.

Really? So because one store (which doesn't specialise in games) prices the two versions differently, that means it's 'confirmed' to be £5 more? Their website still shows them as the same price by the way ( http://www.whsmith.co.uk/Ca... ) and every gaming website has them at the same price.

The worse thing is, the website of the retailer which was apparently selling the PS3 version more expensive had both versions at the same price!

Then you had all the comments from people who just read the title without looking into it and jumping on the banwagon of wrong information. This was despite numerous posts from people actually living in the UK showing how ridiculous the article was and showing many many game retailers listing both versions at the same price. View

What I did to get used to the basics was just do an offline game with the wife (thanks hun for being such a good sport!) lol.

Do people forget you can do 4 player split screen offline? Even if you don't have another person, but have two controllers, just set it up and get your basics down and get comfortable before confronting the big bad world of online :) View

I'm glad someone from the UK has responded to this news before it gets out of hand. I would NEVER think of buying a game from WH Smith. I go there for books/stationary/magazines - not games lol

I love the title also; "says major UK retailer" they should add "says major UK retailer THAT DOESN'T SPECIALISE IN GAMES" and that EVERY store which specialises in games have them at the same price.

And why would WH Smith lead the way for other stores to start charging more?

Yeah this game runs at 30fps and never drops below 29fps and doesn't go over 32fps (apart from loading screens which are 120fps). I was watching people play the game for like 20 minutes and played around 10 minutes myself with that information on the screen telling you the frames per second. View

I can confirm it was running on a PC. Before the presentation you could see the desktop (they were running Windows XP funnily enough) with a huge purple UV logo as the background. Apparently this is the company which supplied their system.

He also confirmed that the PC/PS3/360 would all be released at the same time.
