Looking at the update of a few more pictures. Looks like you can buy as well as rent, however in that example you can only buy an SD version and not the HD version. Hope they'll give us the option of both.

Also, the size for the rental file is 6517MB (over 6.5GB) which seems pretty hefty to me!! On my slow internet connection, I certainly wont be renting any movies on the spur of the moment for the night, cause it'd take over a night to download! This is one of the reasons why I don't believe digital distrubtion will catch on anytime soon, cause our internet speeds aren't ready for it (well, speaking on my behalf cause I know people do have fast connections, just not the majority imho). Do you ever feel disliked? How can someone disagree with your comment when it's all your own opinion/actions. Like, does some not believe you or something? lol

Anyhow, what you need to remember is that there are still advantages to renting things. Firstly the price; you can always rent a game and complete it within the time period and save yourself a fair bit. Not everyone can afford to buy every game that looks decent, so renting is a good alternative.

Secondly, renting is a good way of trying things out before buying. If you're not sure of a game, then try it out for a few days before buying it. I know I've rented some games before, just to try out and turned out really liking them and buying the full game. Yes, it can cost more in the long run if you buy every game, but you can also save yourself some money on duff games.

When it comes to movies, I've never been one to buy many. I feel movies can only be watched a few times in a certain time frame otherwise you don't get the same experience. What's the point in watching something which you know exactly what is about to be said and/or happen? So for me, renting is the way forward with movies. You pay a smaller price, watch it once and you're happy! View

Also, does anyone know the quality that the downloads will be? Are we talking 1080p 5.1 surround sound or am I being too optimistic? lol

And looking at the second picture, $5.99 seems a bit pricy for a rental. Hope they'll be looking to have a more competitive price. They could even do subscriptions like unlimited monthly rentals or set amount each month - like Blockbuster/Lovefilm do. View

"The video store will hit North America this summer with the store reaching Europe and Japan at a later date."

A later date? That's great news! I guess that means all the problems will be ironed out in time for the rest of the world to get it :D Maybe even a bigger library of available titles? Well I have to be positive... View

I've got to agree with you, I've been playing this game more than any other recently - and that includes MGS4 and GTAIV. View

This is the Xbox version. Interestingly, Nadal is playable on the PS3 version but not on the 360.... View

How can something without a release date be delayed? View

If I recall correctly, they gave Overlord the same score of MGS4. That says it all really. No more needs to be said.

Reply after you finish shaking your head in disbelief.... View

Believe it or not, but the UK has gotten something before the US! It's out in the UK today.

I personally love demo's and I'm surprised there aren't more of them with every game coming out. It can really go two ways though, as you can play the demo and hate it straight away (and not buy it), or you could love it (and buy it). So I can understand some studio's not wanting to take the 'risk' of releasing a demo; but then again they should be confident in their work!

The Civilazation demo is a good example to me of how demos can go well. I really wasn't sure of what to expect, having played it on the PC many moons ago and wasn't planning to buying the game due to other games coming out this month. So I downloaded the demo to try it out and pretty instantly become hooked! I've now preordered the game and awaiting to get my fix tomorrow :) But without that demo I wouldn't have bought it, so they've gained a customer by simply releasing a demo.... View

2 Demo's = I'm happy. I was actually wanting a Quake War's demo cause I'm unsure of what to think of that game at the moment. I was thinking of renting to make up my mind, but this demo has saved me a couple quid :) View

"what's new in Euro 08?"
I wouldn't say anything is 'new', I'd just say it's all refined. The gameplay is alot smoother and just has a better feel overall. The addition of the little bar indicating how hard your pass/shot is a nice improvement too. Oh and also the celebrations and managers, but those aren't really anything too important. I think they've changed the 'be a pro' camera angle too, to be the same as what it is when you play the game normally - it makes it easier. View

I'm in the same boat. I'll gladly admit Euro2008 plays better than Fifa08, but it just feels like half a game at the full price. You'd imagine they'd make Fifa09 better than Euro2008, but worse case scenario is they screw up and you can get Euro2008 for cheaper! My mates are trading in Fifa08 to get Euro2008, but I've decided I'm waiting for Fifa09. View

Konami have certainly found a way to separate the people who REALLY want to try out this beta, from those who aren't too bothered!! First of all you need to download the first update (which took me 8 hours on p2p) and then you have to go through what can only be described as the worse sign-up process I've ever come across (well, PES2008 was pretty bad too).

Anyone who has managed to sign up since they released the beta download, are either very lucky - or just very patient and really really want to get into this beta and keep trying and trying (like me!).

I'd like to warn those of you who get past the point of registering your details... you need to click a link in your e-mail to confirm your details and accept further t&c's and that takes a good amount of tries and time as well!!

I really hope they abandon this shamble of a process for the full game and whoever came up with the idea is shot on the spot! Or maybe the people who didn't plan ahead to handle this demand! View

Does it really matter what console this game is more popular on? Shouldn't we all just enjoy the game and not really worry about this sort of stuff? Just be glad you're playing it because it's not an exclusive! View

Sorry to break it to you buddy, this is for the UK store. You've still got to wait around 3 weeks more. Sorry :'( View

Yay, they've updated the entire store. Anyone notice the little advert about the store saying "great new look - coming soon!" on the side? (you'll need a widescreen tv to see it I think, since the store has a different layout)

Also, anyone notice that the release date for the new content is 27-Mar-2008 for the new content apart from GT5:P?

EDIT: The disagrees! lol So my eyes are lying to me and the entire store hasn't updated? Then how am I downloading the demo/videos/etc? You can't disagree with a question, so that must be the only thing you can disagree with lol Agree/Disagree isn't the same as Yes/No you know lol :D View
