Interesting
I guess this would be a good enough reason to upgrade for existing 360 owners? Not to mention the HDMI support and 120GB....

Do you think those 360's being sent back for repairs will get this added? View

Couldn't agree more with all these points
I personally think the PS3 is a great deal, especially when comparing it to rivals.

I didn't want to pay extra for a wi-fi adapter than sticks out the back, or rechargeable batteries that make the controller heavier, or be forced to buy an over-priced specific hard drive and pay a subscription to play my games online.

With the PS3 I get everything I want neatly in a single box. There isn't anything extra needed (besides games).

You could say you don't want a blu-ray player, but if you're like me and don't use it now, that doesn't mean you wont use in 5 years time. Not to mention it enables games to have higher content so you wont be stuck in the past.

The problem the PS3 actually has it perhaps it's a bit ahead of it's time and not everyone is ready for it. We don't all have our 1080p HD televisions and our 7.1 surround sound speakers which would show off everything the PS3 can do.

Ultimately you are investing in a machine which isn't going to go out of date within a year like the rest of the technology in this world does. View

????
Not sure there is a market for this. Like seriously, how hard is it to set up a router? It took me less 2 minutes to set up my laptop and PS3 to connect to my Netgear router. And I didn't even have to press a button on the router! All you need is the password, like what's the big deal? View

I also find it a bit strange that a single negative thing can merit a low score. If the only reason for this game getting a low score is the six-axis, then why doesn't all Wii games get a low score?? View

Unsure.
I think I'll be having to wait a while after this game comes out to read all the reviews of the final game. Then if the reviews match the previews, I might have to rent it to check it out for myself.

I want it to be a good game. It has the potential to be a good game! View

Good news...
I played the first GRAW on the Xbox 360 and really enjoyed it - especially the online play. I played a bit of the demo for GRAW2 on the 360 as well - looked very promising! I hope this one is a good port and gets better reviews than R6:V. The mixed reviews is probably the reason I didn't buy it.

Give us more demo's on the PSN!! They are one of the main reasons why I would buy a game. XBL has waaaay more demo's. View

I question the purpose of this story.
I'm surprised this story has been approved. It's clearly very biased, presumes too much and has been twisted to create controversy.

"Is Rockstar saying sorry to Sony?" No, Sony are just spending there money to secure a game.

Rockstar are a proven company and ensuring they make a game solely for the PS3 could turn out to be a good move. Although, we have no idea what the game is, so that's just speculation on my part. View

What games are on the PSN which are like simple and fun to play? I want a mini-golf game as well as some old arcade games, like a dig-dug, bomberman, pac-man etc.

Are there any plans for games like these? Or are there any already? View

Short article which leaves quite a few things out in my opinion. Interesting read never the less. View

My two pence...
I think HD-DVD would have had a much better case if the Xbox360 had one built in and used it for it's games - like the PS3. I guess they didn't fully trust it would succeed and did the safe option of having it as an optional extra - that way they can make either one an extra in the future after the winner is decided. View

End what?
Comments on the story already states that the website is run separately and will continue to stock HD-DVD's. It's the high street stores which will only stock Blu-Ray. View

Excited - Can't wait!!
got home from work last night and started downloading the new trailers and the Heavenly Sword demo. Since it was taking waaaaaay too long to download (I presume too many people downloading at the same time) and it was late, I paused everything and went to bed. Woke up this morning and resumed my downloads and they were all done in like 5 minutes! Waiting for the installation and began the demo.

The first thing that strikes you is the music and the atmosphere it creates for the game. You then check out the controls and the combo's(there's too many to remember first time). You start the game and the first scene is a cinematic introduction that is first class. You then walk around and start the rope descent which involves pressing buttons to stay on. (Get these right otherwise you fall and die straight away!) You then land on a rock platform with around 8 guys to beat up. It took me a while to realize how to block, but I find countering more effective. When you start to figure out the combo's you start to "ooooo" and "aaaahh" and there is certainly enough variety for them not to become repetitive. Also trip picking up things - you can even throw the dead bodies that you've killed at the enemy!!

You then cut the rope holding up the platform and it starts falling to a lower platform. Again, some timely pressing of the X while ensure you land smoothly (if not, you sort of stumble to the ground). You then get some more guys to beat up and try more moves on. Then after they're all dead, the doors burst open with some harder looking guys - then it fades and the demo is over!! What a tease!!!!

Yes, the demo is very short, but it's enough to get a feel of the game and also practice your moves to get ready for the full thing. Definitely has the potential to be a great game - the graphics and combat is certainly up there with the best. The only thing which can stop this being a great game, IMHO, is if the story lets it down.

(Does anyone know if it's possible to transfer the demo to another PS3 which doesn't have internet connection??) View

For the Wii??
I hope they're announcing one for the PS3! I love the game, but my poor PC can't handle it properly and that sucks the fun out of it.

Can't wait! I'm really looking forward to the chance to meet people to add to my friends list and play games against. A really cool and original idea. Everything feels a bit disconnected at the moment to me.

When is this due in Europe? View

HD-DVD Vs. Blu-Ray
Who else wishes this would all be over already? It looks like Blu-Ray is starting to take strides to being the choice so let's just go with it. Not to mention, what would every PS3 owner do if HD-DVD won?? View

Being a PS3 owner, this news about extra content doesn't bother me in the slightest. Even if it was the PS3 that had the extra content I wouldn't care. It's just something to boast about. I'm not one for paying for extra content, especially for a game that has hours of gameplay anyway! View

Sounds like Microsoft was getting a bit scared and sort of daring Sony to, doesn't it? I don't think it will happen, I don't see any point to it. It doesn't seem like Sony, they don't do half-full things. It's all or nothing.

Secondly, living in England and having to pay £399.99 for the 60GB model over here, bringing it down to the same price in dollars (equating to actually £195.01 at current exchange rates) would be suicide for the English/European market and kicking us all in the balls (more than they already are when comparing prices around the world).
