@joemayo76

That's actually quite inacurate - the reviews are going against what was expected of Too Human.

The majority of us expected it to be receiving 90+ scores almost everywhere. Compare expectation with reality and that's where the fail comes from.

Put it this way, if Little Big Planet, Killzone 2 or even FF get scores averaging 7/10, that would be considered a fail.

Same applies here. View

If only the world was that simple dude - the important thing to remember is that reviews can make or break a games sales figures.

Too Human might be fantastic to a small group of people, but when the general opinion out there seems to be 'its broken' that's going to put a lot of people off paying £45 for it, some will even wait til it can be had for £20 in the bargain bins.

All this amounts to is lost sales for the developer/publisher and less likley we'll see the sequel anytime soon.

What ever way you look at it, a bad review can only be bad for a game. There's no escaping that. View

I really can't comment on Too Human - downloaded the demo on release but I've so many other great games to get through I havent even had time to try it out yet. Negative press has put me off, but it seems like one of those 'love it or hate it' type games.

I didn't particularly enjoy the Diablo series so I'm not holding out too much hope. View

Totally agree - really looking forward to this one, though I'm hoping for a demo before splashing the cash.

Original was one of my favorite games of the last generation. View

It's incredibly addictive isn't it - but brilliant at the same time.

Could even be a challenger to Little Big Planet! View

Yeah they could do some really neat stuff with all the fancy tricks available these days - real physics would be a blast if you'll excuse the pun.

Speaking of physics, it's good to see Fantastic Contraption made it on the list. If you havent yet had the joy, go here to try it out.

Not sure I need a TV with a built in HDD, well not for the forseeable future anyway.

I'm sure there are folks out there though who'd enjoy having such a thing though, I just don't see the takeup being there for it right now though. View

Yeah I agree that publishers will move more towards digital distribution, but in reality I think they are going to be held back by infrastructure concerns.

Certainly here in the UK, broadband speeds are nowhere near good enough to allow users to download say MGS4 or Gear 2 without a very long wait. My connection, like the majority of the UK is one of those "up to 8meg" but in truth I only ever get 4meg maximum out of it.

Once the infrastructure is in place to deliver 100mb connections to homes, I think we'll see digital dist really take off. I think lack of infrastructure is what killed off the Phantom console idea.. View

I'm sick of...
...these f@*k1ng videos.

Didn't someone else post a story yesterday that swore the PS3 had the better looking version?

Who cares! It's not a PS3/360 contest here, it's Darth/Yoda where the real buying decisions will be made.

Soul Calibur has always been a fantastic series and i'll be buying it for sure and so should everyone else! View

Yes, there is a delay for sure - but it's the order of the delay that's making me suspicious.

If for example, the controller was moved then there was a short delay in the action on screen I could understand.

But the fact remains, the action is taking place on screen FIRST with the delay being the guy moving the controller. Just how can an action take place before the controller has even been moved?

It does actually make a hell of a difference and for that reason, I'm out! View

Strange...
Did anyone else notice this?

When playing Harry Potter, the spells he was doing in-game were actually happening on screen before he'd made the gesture with the controller. Just a slight half second out, but that makes me suspicious that someone is off-camera with a controller. It just didn't seem to fit.. View
