I must agree with you there, this Naruto version looks amazing, it's like the actual tv show playable! i personally think the softer, lighter pads on the PS3 is much better for games like this. However, FPS games suit the 360 much better. Other genre's (such as adventure, RPG) feel more natural on the ps3 controller. As much as you say 'each to their own' you cannot denie the design implementation and target. That is one of the advantages I think this game will have over the 360 version.

I mean look at the difference!

One looks like a Dragon Ball Z game upgraded, the other looks like a playable anime tv show. If they can execute a Dragon Ball Z game the same way this Naruto PS3 project is turning out.......i'll die with excitement lol View

Yeah i agree sonarus, at the moment, with a 1000 songs it is very hard to navigate, order and organise music and even find the song I want, I always seem to pass it. View

However I must say, consumers aren't always that smart, bias is a large factor, they don't think 'Oh yeah 100 Gigabytes is better than 51, or 50 is better than 30", if the salesman is pro-microsoft they will say "yes blu-ray is an option, however, you want to get a HD-DVD because Transformers is coming out on HD-DVD and I mean what else is coming out on Blu-Ray?"

This is what a Myer salesman told me, if I was not aware of the specs and information about the formats I would be easily swayed to HD-DVD.

I then asked the salesman why he thought HD-DVD was better, he did not mention anything about space capacity he said this "well it's backed by Microsoft, so you know its good quality."

I was taken aback and a bit shocked to be honest, so then I questioned him with questions like "But isn't 50Gb better than 30, isn't 100 GB better than 51GB?"

And he got very defensive, and continued to hit the same point of Microsoft backing it so you know it's going to win.

So you know, it isn't always the consumers fault, many many people are unawares of the features, specifications and are blindsighted. I mean you'd think, double the storage capacity = better technology = more sales, but consumers don't even know anything about that, so at the moment it seems very airy fairy and out there.

I remember another salesman said Plasma was outselling LCD and LCD was far worse to Plasma, then I questioned him about bruned in images, viewing angles, brightness, contrast ratios and he was taken aback than I actually knew my stuff.

Anyway I hope the better technology wins, because well, I want better technology, I'd like to back up my whole hard rive on one blu-ray, not multiple hd-dvds etc.

I think it will, marginally. But all the blu-ray guys, I think we know we will just buy the DVD and upscale it to near HD quality on our blu-ray players/ps3.

I think the BDA is still reeling from the move Paramount made. But Sony and the other blu-ray studios have a lot of massive hits, so it will be interesting to see just how much of a difference this will make. View

I mean it seems like EA know europe and australia and many other countries love their football/soccer, and this seems to me, I don't know about anyone else, a cheap spin off to try and get some of those people to buy it.

That is fairly logical, I mean the first time you're learning to code for a new platform, processor and whole system will take some learning curve, I mean these developers are only doing their first games on the PS3 while they are already on their second or third for the 360, it's understandable to have such difficulties, it is only logical.

Although first generation games on the PS3 are looking really good, second, third etc. generation games on the system will be extremely interesting to see how they turn out. View

I must say, without meaning to be offensive, have to be the most ignorant and mis-informed individual on this network if you truly believe that.

Anyway, if they do bring it to the 360 I wouldn't be too fussed, more of the love to share around, although my respect for companies that keep brand loyalty will be totally ripped apart. But hey I got both consoles, as long as the PS3 version shines and does the best it can graphically and gameplay wise, I don't care.

Anyway I find the softer buttons, smaller and light controller of the PS3 better for fighting, action, adventure, sport etc. games.

I damn love my FPS on 360 though :P Although Resistance make me think twice, thrice, and a fourth time.

But anyway, I don't believe they would bring it over to the 360, especially with the Japan market (the biggest tekken fans) being PS3 centered, but if it does, no big deal, just share the love hey? View

Not too shabby. I wasn't too...err 'esctatic' about the actual movie, was very long and action packed, character wise as they mentioned, was not developed nearly enough and to the level of complexity as they should have, I just didn't get that 'wow that was a great movie' feeling. But yer I'll anyway a buy it on blu-ray with all it's extras, I mean it was a good movie, just not a GREAT movie like I wanted it to be. Anyway it's a movie I can watch over and over again whenever I'm bored, so it's all good. View

if Sony has to introduce a console earlier because like these articles saying everyone else will.........(which i have some doubts about), but hypothetically if they do decide to release a console earlier, they would still support the ps3 and it's users like it is doing with the PS2 right now, for it to achieve it's 10 year lifespan.

But this Wii 2 thing? Isn't this that Michael Patcher prediction? It sounds practical, but whether or not Nintendo actually does it is yet to be seen, I personally think it would be a smart strategy to keep up with the 360 and PS3 in terms of power and the next gen format (which ever one it may be). But we can only wait and see aye. View

good sir i believe you're right, the only thing this game lacks from the CG trailer was it's textures, I mean don't get me wrong Killzone 2 textures look absolutely amazing for the level of development they are at, but it's not up to speed with the CG trailer. Otherwise.......damn I'm thirsty for some Killzone 2.

OH OH OH AND has anybody heard the rumour...its a bit old but it thought I'd bring it up again, the rumour about multiplayer, and what it'd be like? If that turns out to be true.......Killzone 2 will be revolutionary.

And they havent announced any features, all they've said is here is the game, heres some small snippets, and this is what one small part of a level looks like.

I don't doubt OPM's claims that it is far beyond anything on consoles, I mean look at it, even the biggets xbot (besides the mart and such) can not denie how amazing the visuals are! Even Uncharted: Drakes Fortune is like this aye.

The first time I saw Killzone 2, was that CG trailer, I had no faith, I was like "nar they can't pull that off, as if, they're lying on this one". Then I watched the in-game footage...........and damn I reckon it looks better, i mean the blood, is way better, the whole thing, it just looks so immersive and real. This is one of the games I'm most looking forward to, up there with MGS4 and Alan Awake! View
