If this is coming out on consoles, I really hope they didn't dumb down the controls to do so. Then again, the first one used just about the entire keyboard so I guess that is inevitable. Sad if so, this one should have stayed PC only. Reading through this thread already makes my head hurt with all the noobs saying "just another fps" and making references to COD4. .......PLEASE! Good point also. The digital divide is still much larger than some of these editorial writers and analysts care to acknowledge. The actual percentage of people with broadband access worldwide is still considerably low. Couple that with mega companies like Comcast that hold a large market share of the broadband business putting a cap on monthly usage, and you can see its just not going to happen anytime soon. View

I disagree. Blu-Ray drives will be much cheaper by the time PS4 rolls out, and that would give it the ability to have backwards compatability with PS3 and PS2 as well as the ability to watch DVD's, Blu-Ray, etc. Even with the (supposed) inevitability of digital distribution, by not including an optical drive you would be severing yourself from past technologies. That is not something any console maker will be interested in, as both Sony and Microsoft gain revenue off of things like movies, old xbox/ps2/ps3/360 games.

To eliminate it would just not be very smart business. View
