Sure, through Remote Play
But what they're talking about here is an actual Store on the PSP, like the web-based PC store but actually native on the device.

We saw this coming a long time ago when Remote Play allowed Internet connection to the PS3, and you had to 'sign in to the PSN' to connect. It was only a matter of time before they allowed that sign in to access the PS Store and other PSN content. View

Errrrrr... it's not a 'leaked' document
The title of the story is sensationalist and incorrect.

This presentation is public domain and available from Sony Global's website as part of the transparency required by a public company.

You'll find all their business presentations there - http://www.sony.net/SonyInf...

So not a leak at all... but all the news is interesting, of course. View

Interesting article...
...but I think Darren is a little off the mark.

Sure, Ubisoft are huge from a publishing perspective, but they and Eidos aren't the only options. In terms of developers Traveller's Tales (pre-WB buyout) were the UK's biggest publisher last year and were placed 10th in the world. Ubisoft France were 11th, followed by Rebellion in 16th place.

Add in the likes of Rockstar London/Leeds/etc., Codemasters and London Studio and things don't look so bad, actually. Of course, SCEE should be counted in the 'huge publisher' list as well.

European developers did well in the Develop 100 last year, and it looks like they will do well again when the numbers are counted for the 2008 edition - http://www.ps3attitude.com/... - and the state of EU games publishing is not as bad as Darren is suggesting. View

Thanks mate...
...we may have another MGS4 article in us yet - you'll have to watch this space and check the website.

The solar gun is a particularly tricky item to get your hands on - but you may just manage it when playing through the Big Boss Hard No-Kill and Boss Extreme playthroughs... View

Go for it!
You know you can do it!!!

Even if you only manage some of our Perfect Playthrough items, you'll still get many of the emblems, and the extras that come with some of them... View

It may do right now...
...but after some more practise you'll be surprised at how achievable it is.

But the Menagerie playthrough is the fun one! :-) View

Thank you Mr. First Commenter...
...you just won me a tenner.

I bet that the first post would say "pity the game wasn't as good as the viral"... and now I'm up ten quid. :-)

Of course, the game wasn't that bad - just everyone fell in line with the ridiculous IGN article. But that's the way it goes sometimes... View

Well.......
We had a comment at PS3 Attitude from 'anonymous' that said "Lame, the only big one out of the three is MGS4."

Here's my response:

"Thanks for your comment. That's one Big Opinion, but please consider this...

1. We've been doing the Big Three feature every month, so I'm not going to change it to the Big One just because something great is on the way

2. Not all gamers are old enough to play 15 or 18-rated games, so MGS4 may pass younger gamers by - hence Lego." View

That's why we put a poll up at the site - go make your vote count.

So far, 20% of people don't agree with you and have voted 'no'... View

Just to be clear...
...we're talking about a single, uninterrupted cut-scene being close to 90 minutes long.

And apparently there are more than one of these extra-long scenes in the game.

So the entire length of the cut-scenes will be several hours, all added together.

So the question is, are you happy to sit through a single scene that approaches 90 minutes? View

Glad I could be of service.

For the record, I think more reviewers/editors should play an active role at N4G and get involved... View

I agree with you. And it appears the bigger the site or mag is, the more there's a chance that the review will be swayed by revenue-related issues too.

We've tried to be balanced in our review, and something you should know about our Haze Week - we did it because we truly like the game and because Ubisoft were good enough to work with us, not because it was being sponsored by Ubi - in fact everything we do is independent and not swayed by advertising.
