The Xbox 360 is the pinnacle of human ingenuity and perfection, with each of its components working in perfect harmony with each other to create the ultimate home entertainment architecture in which developers may realize the full potential of their creative visions in a timely and cost effective manner. This is why Xbox 360 games look better, play better and are overall better titles than their PS3 counterparts, because the Xbox 360 gives developers and publishers the power that they need to fully realize their projects on budget and on time, which allows for a far better defined and polished gaming experience to the end user.

Furthermore the revolutionary and visionary Xbox 360 architecture has allowed for significant future scalability as the Xbox 360 has kept pace with the hottest PC titles whilst the inferior PS3 and Wii have technically fallen by the wayside as gamers have abandoned these platforms in droves for the Xbox 360 these holidays.

The PS3 is such a disaster of epic proportions one could write a doctoral thesis on where Sony went wrong, but for the fandroids out there (a hamster has more intellect than this lot) I shall explain it to them once more why the PS3 is inferior to the Xbox 360. The PS3 is the worst designed console of all time, with its poorly designed architecture and like the runt of the litter the PS3 is a real mangy mutt, it uses a veritable patchwork of garbage and unsuitable components for a home entertainment system, such as the use of the CELL processor, limited RAM, RSX and Blu-Ray a great example of Sony puttings its own corporate greed and interests over that of developers it has created a machine that is horribly inefficient and unwieldy, less powerful than the Xbox 360 while being significantly more to produce. This has led to higher development costs and inferior quality games on the PS3 platform, and consumers in all their wisdom have decided to abandon this sinking ship of a console once and for all. It is a platform which AMD has designed containing the Phenom II Processor, motherboard with 790 series chipset and a Radeon graphics card. View

That's why I decided to go with a Phenom II system a few months back, is because multi-core processors are at a level right now that the differences in game performance is negligible.

I dare say it might be the first time in computer history that both processing and graphics power has advanced to such a point while the technical requirements of games seems to have stabilized (due to the consoles mostly) that these systems will be able to continue to be excellent gaming machines for many years.

I don't need a i5 or an i7 for what I am using my computer for and I have a good upgrade path in the AM3 platform over the next 2 years. Furthermore with a 5870 there is so much graphics power there which is countless times more power than the 360 or PS3 offers that there won't be many games which will stress it until the next generation of consoles are released. My DDR3 Phenom II @ 3.6ghz will be a powerful games machine with excellent upgradibility in the future, coupled with a 5870 I do not expect to have to upgrade the video card for at least 2 years.

Regardless, it will be a massive improvement over my current card, a 256mb 7900GT. Having a 2gb 5870 is going to be crazy. View

One has to ask why is N4G still in 'beta' after all these years and why the site's updates have stagnated. It seems that those who are in power over N4G are more than happy to continue to exploit the efforts of the contributors and get rich from it instead of actually putting in some more much needed effort themselves to ensure that this site is the best that it can be.

If they are taking the Lions Share of the revenue we as a community should be expecting more from them on improving the site and making it even more successful.

The droids convinced themselves for months on end that Backwards Compatibility was coming to the PS3, only to find out that Sony has misled and lied to them yet again.
