Syphon Filter was perhaps in the top 5 games for the PS1. There was just something about it, it was set up so nicely. I used to play the demo over and over and over before I got the full game way back in the day...memories. View

I honestly think it had alot to do with the format war. I think that when the PS2 launched it was an easy buy for so many people because even if they were only a LITTLE bit into games they still needed a DVD player and DVD was clearly the next format. When the PS3 launched it was still up in the air, and people who were only a LITTLE bit into games didn't know what to do because the format war wasn't settled. Only hardcore gamers were buying it because they wanted it for the games, but now it's officially a successful Multi-media device and the systems will start flying off the shelves. View

The List

Here is a list of things Sony/Rockstar need to do to have the PS3 version of GTA IV outsell the 360 version:

1. Better graphics, self explanatory.
2. Solid framerate, cannot be lower than the 360 version.
3. Some kind of exclusive content, whether it be online play, themes, SOMETHING!!!
4. Full accomplishment integration into Home/PSN to match the 360's Achievement list. (This is more dependent on Sony than Rockstar methinks..."

I own all three next gen systems and if GTA IV doesn't have some kind of "Accomplishment" point scoring list on the PS3 then I'll be buying it for 360, it's as simple as that. I think that goes for most, if not all, multi-platform owning gamers. View

This is for real man

I've been reading about it for some time. They had a short demo about 6 months ago of a guy flying a plane using his mind, and he was maneuvering around different aspects of the terrain and shooting missiles just by thinking about it, it was a sight to be seen.
