all of you playstation fanatics know exactly what he's talking about... no real need to elaborate here
Why wouldn't fable's co-op system be able to work on psn you ask?
1. B/c joining anyone's game on the fly isn't possible on psn without the developer forcing it to be there.
2. You can't invite friends into your game without the developers writing code for it.(try inviting your friends to a mic-less game of warhawk and see what happens.)
The fact that psn has dedicated servers is because SONY DOESN'T PROVIDE THE BANDWIDTH SO THEREFORE ITS LEFT TO THE DEVELOPERS TO DO IT THEMSELVES... dedicated servers isn't sony's gift to you, they exist because sony doesn't have enough money invested in psn to have every single game integrated into the same unified system.
This is why when you play a game such as warhawk, socom, or whatever game with dedicated servers and you check your freinds list from inside the game it says your friends are offline, even if they are really online playing another game. This happens because they aren't on warhawks or socom's SERVERS... this is the difference. On the otherhand microsoft's system is fully integrated
also, when is the last time any of you guys recieved a game invite from another warhawk player asking you to join his/her game and then with one press of a button you were immediately connected into their game. YOU CAN DO THIS WITH ALL XBOX LIVE GAMES... THIS IS A REQUIRED FEATURE FOR FABLE 2 TO WORK AS IT IS INTENDED
