I think you replied to my entry, but I am not sure I understand what you wrote, therefore I can not really retort.
So, remember that the PS3 was release 6 months after in EU than the US, so there could have been a few more units counted into the first year. The price was also a killer for most people as well. Also, since MS does not have a decent market in JPN, you know JPN will gobble up PS3s once the heavy hitting RPGs come out. EU is also a stronger market for the PS3 than the 360. I also believe once the price comes down in the US, the PS2 fanbase will switch over.
In defense of Wood. I think he was saying that the 360 year two hardware sales are lower than year one 360 hardware sales. Therefore it is 'degressive' in that way, even tho overall, the 360 is doing better than the original box.
