I think it's because the author who wrote the article decided to take out the software side of things and primarily focus of the hardware aspect. So yeah, he definitely did a good job on staying on track and keeping his personal bias to a minimal.

EDIT: Thanks for the random disagree(s), troll(s). =) View

Awesome.
This was a well thought out video. It also pretty much gets the message clear. I love it. View

-"COD4 is full of campers racking up easy kills"

"And obviously a lot of noobs who cant use the kill cam...."
----
Wrong. The kill cam is there for your viewing. If you want to see how a player killed you. You would just be a fool to stay in the same position.

-"Your kidding me right? Halo is one of the easist FPS games going, your shield allows you to take a whole clip of ammo then 5 secs later you've regenerate. One of the main reason i like CoD is because a few well placed shots and your enermy is dead."
----
Wrong. The primary reason COD4 is fun to play is because it's very easy to get into whether you win or lose. In Halo, if you're playing in a ranked game, you have a lot of think about. Your rank it drop if you lose. And I believe most gamers do not like to handle that type of stress.

Also, the regenerating shield is irrelevant. If you're taking shots to the head, you'll find out soon enough that the shield doesn't matter much...

As for COD4, it doesn't matter where you hit the person. Spray the corpse with bullets and their dead. Top that off, COD4 has a ridiculous auto-aim assist that locks on target with little effort involved. How many times have you ran past someone and have your crosshair suddenly move towards the direction of the enemy in multiplayer mode?

Either way, I'm having more fun with COD4 than I did with Halo 3. However, I can honestly say there's more skill involved in Halo (getting to level 50 is a brutal pathway...) than COD. View

The first Rainbow Six: Vegas used the Unreal Engine. I don't know about the sequel, but I strongly believe it's using the same thing. If you ask me, I think the first game looks better than the "sequel".

As for Call of Awesome 4, you are correct. It's the same tech that powered the second game.

Fun fact: Did you know that COD4 uses LESS polygons than COD2? =) View
