WTF?
Two same stories got posted - one immediately after the other, appearing right next to each other and side-by-side on the front page??

The exact same source, same report, same screenshots.

WTF? Fanboy madness. View

What he said is true, people who really like Western RPG are not going to go for the PS3
As well as the PS2 sold well in the last gen (100 mil), it was still pale when compared to the PC gaming market (estimated by various source to be at 400+ mil back in mid-2000s.)

A significant segment of gamers who stayed on PC were Western RPG fans, and now they are finally leaving PC behind and migrating to console. 400 mil is a huge number. And when they migrate, they are going to pick the platform that offers the type of game they like to play: Western RPG.

Does the PS3 has any (exclusive) Western RPG to offer them? Sure, it has Oblivion, but that's on Xbox 360 as well. If I really like Western RPG, and I want a platform that gives me the best and most Western RPGs, and I'm only buying one console, guess which one (360 or PS3) did I buy?

Well, the PS2 might have sold 100 mil - but not to Western RPG fans, which I'm sure are numbered in the millions. It's not about how many consoles PS3 have sold, it's about how many more consoles PS2 could have sold but did not because it does not have Western RPGs. View

PS3 continues to outsell Xbox 360 in Japan (and French, who hates Americans) - and a large part of it is because of cultural bias/preference or whatever you want to call it. Cultural bias/preference is a factor, whether Microsoft/Sony wants to deal with it or not.

Chinese and Koreans have serious grudges against Japanese - which Japanese still refuse to face up and even try to lie about to cover up history.

Microsoft is not going to do well in Japan simply because of cultural reason. The cultural factor is already working against Microsoft in Japan, the cultural factor is working in Sony's business favor. So Microsoft might as well used a cultural factor to their advantage. It's not something Microsoft can just completely ignore or pretend that it does not exist.

As much as Chinese and Koreans do not like Americans, they hate Japanese more. Microsoft can use that to its business advantage.

As for Sony - Sony does use its media power to make various Japanese propaganda. Here's something for you to look it up: Iris Chang wrote a book called "The Rape of Nanking", which offends Japanese because its reveals the war atrocities that Japanese had committed and is trying to deny and cover up. The book was adapted into a screenplay. Sony quickly "optioned" that screenplay -- not to make that into a movie, but to prevent other studios from making it into a movie. Sony - being a Japanese corporation - is making its business decision based on cultural factor. Look it up. The information is out there. View

Sony must know they will lose on this one but they still go after it... Sony must be seriously ticked off by Halo to make such a stupid move. View

"kids"?
Do you host your own financial show on TV?

Do you own your own investment or hedge fund company?

Do you work for a Wall Street investment company or NYSE (New York Stock Exchange)?

Do you have multiple business degrees from Stanford or Dartmouth University?

The bios of those analysts are listed under alternative sources. See them for yourselves. View

Young gamers like yourself are immature and can't even spell or put together a sentence properly. A reviewer is a gamer as well as a professional. Most young gamers are neither mature nor qualified enough to review a game. View

You guys are being ridiculous.
If a game sucks, then it'll be a torture to play the game.

If a game is broken, then it'll be improbable to finish the game.

Even you guys don't play a game from start to finish if it sucks. A reviewer is also a gamer to begin with. Why should any gamer play through a game if it sucks? View

The scan is a PREVIEW from LAST YEAR, 2006.

In fact, it's a highly POSITIVE preview.

This submission is FAKE, and the person who submitted *and* approved this story should be BANNED. They are destroying the credibility of this website by submitted FALSE news stories. View

Whoa
This one got approved and the other one did not?????

This one got spin, does not use the original source, is badly edited, and got here about seven hours after the other submission with the same story - but this one still got approved!

Wow. Just wow.

This is just wrong. N4G is completely ruined by fanboys. I would encourage people to continue to report this one as a duplicate, and approve that one. View

ASSASSYN 36o: "she isn't hot...no ass at all."
You must be black. For you guys, it's always about the ass. LOL.

She looks fine. Nice, doll-like baby face. Great legs.

Those are some long sexy legs... just imagine those long slim perfect legs wrapping around your waist as you're humping her.

I'll hit it. View

Blu-ray is good for...
putting a lot of pre-rendered cinematic cutscenes into a "game". Like Lair and Heavenly Sword.

There's a reason why BioWare doesn't put any pre-rendered cutscenes into Mass Effect and has to resort to using in-game, real-time engine.

In a way, the limitation of not having a Blu-ray has become a benefit for gamers - because developers can't just fill up the disc with cutscenes and skim on the gameplay.

Just look at Lair and Heavenly Sword... they are mainly cutscenes with bits of gameplay filled in - both clocks in less than 10 hours. On the other hand, look at Warhawk, the highest rated PS3 title so far... does Warhawk need Blu-ray? View
