Despite some tragic reviews, I can't wait to get this on Sept 7. With a patch or two I'm sure the more frustrating issues will be resolved. Oblivion had LOADS of freezing/loading problems that were fixed after a while.
Problem today is that there are too many casual gamers that feed on the pretty faced, linear, no-brainer quick fix of the fps.. run shoot, run shoot...collect ammo.. run shoot, run shoot.... & when they come across an RPG the gameplay is too involved for them, they loose concentration easily then think it's crap.
One often spends up to 10 hours before getting into games like TW's & then there's another 50-150 of great gameplay. By contrast, games like BioShock/Halo/Haze etc are instantly playable but it's GAME OVER in the time it takes just to get into your average RPG.
I suspect that this is a great game for the serious gamer or a dreadful one for the casual, hence the balance of negative comments.
