you are right but one thing is clear: Why hasn't the Sony/PS3 responded nearly well enough?

It's about time Sony responded in every department because they need to. If change isn't forthcoming the gap will only grow. Xbox 360 are not perfect as we know, but they're ahead & they're hardly going to stand still waiting for Sony to get its act together ! View

Open letter for PS3 fans to send to Hirai:
Dear Hirai,
with all due respect, you are talking utter garbage. The only way PS3 will ever catch up with, let alone overtake Xbox 360 is if your devs stop churning out old but re-hashed run of the mill games & start producing exclusive innovitive & original titles.

Apart from a tiny handful of games such as LBP/Kilzone 2 the PS3's full gaming potential is still to be realised. You also desperately need to reduce the console price & until these things happen your main rival, Xbox 360 will always offer superior quality, choice & value for money.

The PS3 is a fantastic bit of kit & PS3 fans don't want to hear your BS anymore & deserve to know why in 2009 the AAA title list is still so small yet the console remains so expensive ? View

Hamster to blame
I blame the hamster that distracted everyone by slipping on its seed & breaking a mug which had a little tea left in it. The tea spilt onto the wife's laptop which short circuited & blew the plug. The resultant whisps of residual smoke contained enough traces of a hallucinogenic chemical (wire conduction sealant) to suggest that the whole sorry episode was a figment of everyones imagination.
