I like it, looks good. But I doubt I would replace my Iphone for this. way too much fun with the apps. Plus the price is a little too much. I don't think I could ever spend a grand on a cell phone.

I wanted the white one on a £25 contact I'd found with a free gift(choice of a Wii/360arcade/PSP300/iPod touch-would have possibly gone for the iPod)as it seemed a good deal but at the three places I found advertising the deal NONE had the white one, didn't offer it with the black and didn't have a UK date for when the white would arrive! THATS why I hate getting a new phone.

The other problem is that it doesn't really go far enough despite having a few good features-they should have made it capable of a lot more than they have and there are a lot of options they've left out leaving the Satio a much better bet. As you have to be in a Wi Fi hotspot to use the PS connectivity it does nothing more than a PSP unless you have Play TV! AND you can't play any PS games on it-not even PSP minis (IIRC). Imagine if it could've been used to tether a PSP from outside of hotspots for RP etc or they'd figured out a few games you could actually use it for. Sure, maybe these are unrealistic or too ecxpesibe for a phone right now BUT without them is there any real point in the Aino over any other decent phone?

As it is it's neither the rumoured(so often) PS phone nor a way of making your PSP the iPhone killer it could be-set me free from wireless hotspots Sony!

Thats about what any new phone cost here.

But no one buys them, you get them on a contract or some kind of prepaid deal. iPhones were the same.

This is a feature I have been wishing for. PS3 should connect to any blutooth phone to use as a remote or simple browse pix and music. They need to do more to push the advantage of having 7 built in blutooth controllers.

Maybe apple should have a word to Sony as a way of sticking it to M$.

That's what I always keep saying on N4G.

And yet Sony and others still fail to do these most simple things, which would clearly benefit them if they had.

Still surprised why PC manufactures didn't copy the iMac design - it's just a laptop on a stand. Or why there has been no clone of Halo & Gears made - Resistance could have been a Halo clone but Insomniac chose not to copy. KZ2 could have been made so much better from copying and/improving the successful aspects of other AAA games.

Sheez, guys. This is not rocket science. Take the best from around you, combine them, modify/adapt and/or improve and make something better.

Like, how many times have we heard fanboys boosting my product is better because it offers this and your's doesn't.

I just got my DROID, which looks a bit like this one, except better...:) for $700 less.... Sony thinks everything they make should be over $500 even if it's a plastic spork.... that's why I waited for the PS3 price drop...greedy bastards.

in theory but anyone else in the UK find we have a distinct lack of wireless hotspots? When I bought my PSP 3000 last year, the pairing function with my PS3, when out and about , was a big selling point for me. Still never found anywhere (East Midlands) I can use it.

Same story with 3G coverage . Facilities such as mobile TV on my Vodafone Sony Ericsson are frustratingly pointless until the UK becomes less of a third -rate nation in terms of implementing these public services.

McDonalds has free wifi in alot, if not all, outlets. Theres even one in the Mcdonalds in Londonderry, and we get sweet f' all. All you need is an e-mail address. Just use *name*@spam.la and youll be on, but I agree that there is way too little free wifi areas in the UK.

nothing great about this phone got my hands on it here in Singapore. it's such a rip-off. you only access the xmb to view photos, play music and playstation store thats it, might as well get a iphone and psp with that much $$ and still have remainder to spent on other stuff. btw ericsson s*** at making phones

I got this phone on contract in Aus! luv it! PS3 remote play is awesome!! Didnt want an iphone, cant stand Itunes, you can just drop and drag this! and the 8.1 mp Camera is another bonus
