Symwave enables RAID with USB 3.0 storage devices

The people at Nordic Hardware write "Symwave has a SoC (System-on-a-Chip) solution that will enable RAID over the USB 3.0 interface with external harddrives. This means that we will see data transfer rates up to 500MBps with external harddrives, in RAID 0 configurations. Symwave's new SoC is not solely developed for external harddrives, but also conventional harddrives and SSDs. The solutions enables speeds surpassing those of SATA. "
