Is Wii MotionPlus Support Coming to Wii Sports?

After GameDaily sent an inquiry to Nintendo about whether the company would deliver patches that would make older games compatible with the new accessory, the company responded that "The Wii MotionPlus accessory is only for games that are designed to make use of its abilities.

The device that plans to add more precise control to the Nintendo Wii is set to arrive on June 8 for $19.99. Tracking slight wrist movements and a wider range of body turns, the device, which plugs into the bottom of the Wii Remote, translates those motions into movements on-screen.

2 - Patches?
Nintendo? Surely everyone realizes by now that they have absolutely no intention of bettering anything that they've already gotten our money for without charging for it? If they did have that intention, then Brawl's online wouldn't still suck balls after a year, etc.

At one point I couldnt see them doing any kind of patch, but now that they have SDHD support and straight to card storage I see no reason not to really.

Of course since they ship most games 100% complete and working they really have no reason to patch.

Brawls online worked just fine every time for me. If you have an issue it is probably on your end or the people you are playing. If I am not mistaken SSBB is P2P online so it's not really up to Nintendo if you have lag or not since they do not host servers for the game.

I do use wireless but the Wii sits right next to the router also, so that may give me an advantage others do not have when it comes to lag but brawl worked fine while I owned it. Didnt own it for long though as the game just didnt appeal to me, but I did give it an honest chance to prove me wrong.
