G4 wanted to know more about the 2009 Nissan GT-R's unique navigation system. Why?

Polyphony Digital, the makers of Gran Turismo actually helped design it. That's why. In return, Nissan helped Polyphony get the in-game GT-R running as close to real life as possible.

This is why GT forever stays ahead of the competition. When you have car manufacturers coming in to refine your physics model its safe to say its as close to real life as you can get.

I think there's like a Saturn guy hating on us all or something. In any case Toyota has never failed me, the only American car I even thought about getting was a Dodge SRT4 and I once had my eye on an RX8 but decided against it.

Nissan GTR35 is the ultimate expression of how a Japanese supercar should be in the 21st century - which is accessible performance.

For me Subaru's 22B STI's my ultimate fave Japanese cult car, and for all time - has to be the Audi Quattro and the timeless Porsche 928.
Hope these cars make it onto the Full Version GranTurismo 5.

That'll be a great addition if Sony/Polyphony could add a *cult-car favorite section in the game, with fans' emailing which cars to put and for Kazunori Yamauchi-san's team to judge the top 10 or more cars to create for the game... does'nt have to be all old classic cars, even modern concepts could be emailed by gamers'.

Have any of you guys/gals seen the new videos on *GT-TV about the story behind the making of Nissan's GTR35 interface graphics by Kazunori Yamauchi and some Nurburgring track testing plus the Lancer Evolution X tests'...
