'Death Magnetic's' Quality Sounds Better in Guitar Hero Than the CD Version

slashgamer writes: "The audio on their ninth studio album Death Magnetic, has some serious compression issues. The album according to sound engineer Ian Shepherd, has problems with the dynamic range. When is comes to the design of CD's, it's to get the music as loud as possible but not sacrifice the the quality of the music. Something 'Death Magnetic' does poorly, while the Guitar Hero game does it better."
