Tricked-out XPS 730 H2C like a tank with leather seats

Globe & Mail reviews Dell's $9,000 liquid chilled XPS 730 H2C. From the story:

"A couple of months ago I was corresponding with a representative from graphics card manufacturer nVidia through email. I asked him specifically about Crysis, a graphically spectacular shooter from German game studio CryTek which, when set to maximum visual fidelity, has chewed up and spit out every gaming rig I've tried playing it on. Is there anything out there that can actually play this game with all its bells and whistles enabled?

"We're not there yet," he wrote in response.

So imagine my surprise upon reading a Dell press release only weeks later that stated the Round Rock, Texas-based PC maker was shipping a machine that can "play Crysis at full 1920-by-1200 resolution and 30-plus frames per second."

If the gaming nerd in me had dog ears, they would have perked. I requested an evaluation unit...."
