Players want a chance to test their weapons before trying to spread democracy. Is a shooting range or simulator called for?
Explore the controversy surrounding Helldivers 2 on PC. Learn about PlayStation's decision and the potential consequences for the company.
I believe Sony wants to pump up those (monthly active users) stat for their next investor call.
I'd like for people not to support corps so blindly, they don't care about you.
What I've come to realise is PC users hate multiple stores/log in's. How do you square that circle with your politics? Because if everything must be on Steam and under steams system that looks a lot like corporate communism. I don't remember people complaining about multiple stores when you had to get off your backside and go into them to buy your game.
I wonder if they can turn this back, somehow? Probably not if they’re already delisting the game in certain countries. But something has gotta be learnt from all this.
Helldivers 2 controversy continues as the game has been delisted on Steam from over 170 regions that are not supported by PlayStation Network accounts.
Yeah no Sony here messed up if they were going to do this you should've gotten support for psn in those 170 countries so yeah Sony take this L. Arrowhead I'm sorry guys.
It's easy to fix, just don't go ahead with the subscription requirement. This is money men wanting numbers
And yet, 91k players currently on Steam.
13th with only legendary games like DOTA2, GTAV and Counterstrike above it
Controversy my arse.
Arrowhead Game Studios had planned on granting all Helldivers 2 players a free cosmetic for linking their PSN account.
Nice idea.
I'd like a database in your ship with all you enemies in it and a model viewer so you could study them and look at weak points
Do they mean a try before they buy? If they have already purchased it then it's not worth having the devs use their time for something you can simply do by dropping into a mission. I'd rather they continue to focus on improving the game and adding more content. If it were a case that someday they allow us to modify our weapons and add things on, then sure. It would at least then have a more important purpose in being able to fine tune our weapons faster. I doubt modifying weapons would be coming any time soon, if at all.
