Too Human far from perfect, but far from terrible

I am going to give a quick point/counter point review. I don't like reading tangents so I will keep this short and sweet.

+Pros

+ Co-op is a blast. Juggling enemies never gets old

+ Deep Armor and weapon customization

<runes and color options>

+ Class abilities are unique

+ The story is decent

+ The ability to respec skills at any time

+ The game gets harder as the levels progress <some dungeon crawlers the player gets OP'd, but I always feel challenged>

+ The ruiner attack is powerful when fully leveled, and the animation is cool

+++ Lootz and more lootz

-Cons

- combat can get redundant

- more functional menu

- Hel Dog boss battle <the only thing that worked was guns>

- To much time wasted in the equipment window

- The death cut scene <it was cool a couple of times>

- Glitches <I died wonce Valkyrie came down and totally missed me by six feet.>

- status debuffs last WAY TOO LONG <my berserker buddy had half health and died because of debuffs.>

- 3 sides on the class skill tree and only one path available

Currently I am lvl 38 Defender and he was a lvl~37 berserker. We both had a blast besides the dog battle which was stupid <i would go up and bash the hell out of his head and no damage. So we shot him at a distance and got a couple whacks in for that half second he would be disoriented{which was a joke}.>

I haven't made it through the whole story so that was basically a co-op review. The class difference was really apparent, so I don't understand how nay-sayers can say they play the same<not control wise>.

Overall I would give the game an 75/10. The game could have been 10 outta 10, but the cons above take away from the action. The game felt 75 percent done unfortunately

I am going to level to 50 since I heard it was considerable harder/challenging.

TOO HUMAN HATERS: I am not going to debate with you are argue with you. If that is your opinion fine but don’t expect a reply from me. I am open to conversation just not with “It sucks” “360’s Liar” “Denis Dyack is a NOOB” or “I am hating on a game I will never play”. This was a honest review.

Could have been better. Too many glitches. The game stays fluid and doesn't lag/stall with all the enemies on screen
8.0 Sound
The music score is actually epic.
6.5 Gameplay
It really took me a long time to get used to the controls. The gameplay score would have been hire had it not been for the Death Sequence, random bugs, and camera<at times is annoying>.
9.0 Fun Factor
The game is fun, but it all depends on what your taste is. The joy never ceases while beating down an endless barrage of enemies. The "secret" rooms also present a fun challenge.
9.0 Online
Co-op. With 5 different classes the game allows many options.

Succinct and to the point.

I bought Too Human despite all the negativity surrounding it because I did enjoy the demo and I have no regrets yet. Although I am only at the beginning parts of the single player campaign, I am enjoying the game thoroughly. This is a great game for people who like a little bit of RPG, loot, customization of character, skill tree and hack and slash.

There are flaws, most noticeably the camera angles can be annoying, but they do not substantially detract from the extreme fun factor this game provides. I agree too that the equipment/ stats menu can be much improved since that is a very important aspect of the game. However, I cannot agree about the unskippable death scene being a flaw. I have no complaints because it is the only penalty that makes me want to avoid dying since the other penalty (degrading of items) is almost inconsequential.

I expect the game will only get better as the campaign progresses since more combat options will be available. Even at this stage, I would readily give the game a 7.5 - 8.

thanks for the comment. I got to 50 and my first elite item, but I got to say playing in the same environments has gotten kind of old. If it wasn't for co-op, I would probably re-score my rating.

the game is whackk!

How does your review different from other opioniated reviews trying to be gentle
& contradicting yourselves?

You said it never gets old juggling your enemies but in gameplay the combat is redundant.
you are stupid. Sorry you are & as a gamer I can't relate to you!

I aint no casual sucker , I'm a hardcore gamer & there are a 1000 better games in this genre.
Waste your time If you want to but I can see you & your friend both are pu$$ies. Learn how to keep it real.
this game is a 4.5 only because of the sound bringing up the average. I played this crap at a virgin megastore.
its really, really bad. Oh well the worlds gotta have its tools.

I expected more from the graphics though... the Unreal engine kinda spoiled the game for me.. but still fun its like playing a 2002 pc ported game

But beter then what other games rated it... SO true about being reincarnated the whole time.. At 1st i was like wow what a brilliant idea after awhile u wish they'll bring a patch to skip it lol
