Gears of War 2 basically takes place after Gears of War 1. Gears of War 2 has a great story, great multi-player, and is just so fun you will have lots of fun with this game! Upon purchasing Gears 2, you get a code for getting 5 free multiplayer maps from Gears 1. This adds to the multiplayer fun!

I would have to say, playing Gears of War 2 with 4-9 other friends, on system link all next to each other is the most fun you will ever have. Just hearing people screaming for help is the joy of the game. Murdering them with your lancer or blowing their head off with a sniper makes the game so fun you won’t put the controller down for another 12 hours until you finally fall asleep. Put on live, and the experience gets 50x better. You get the freedom to play with people from across the world and have even more fun. But overall, system link when you all are next to each other is the best experience for this game.

The story is very great too. I do not want to give it away, but the story is so fun! The whole story flows together. Unlike Gears 1, you get more interaction with the Lancers Chainsaw. You get to chop through elements of the game world and make the door or stop what is in your path. The ending of the game is great too and you should definately beat the game.

One of the newest additions to the game is Horde. Horde is a game mode where you fight wave after wave of locust. This is pretty hard to do by yourself, so you get the option to bring 4 other friends into horde with you. This makes the game very fun and you can go through it over and over again.

The thing that keeps this game addicting is the Achievements and the Unlockables. In Gears 2, you can unlock characters that you can use in multiplayer. You earn these by completing single player missions, or by completing Gears of War 1. Also, the achievements make you do everything in the game. You can earn achievements for using body shields, getting kills with a chain gun, or completing a certain mission in Single Player.

Overall this game is great and it is a must buy! You should not hesitate and get it today.
