Well what Can I say? Another great PS3 title you must own. Uncharted Drakes forturn is one hell of a game. The game is developed by the guys at Naughty Dog. You might also remember them back in the days of the PS1 when they first introduced Crash Bandicoot, and when they introduced Jak and Daxter during the PS2 era. So now the guys at Naughty dog bring you a new franchise that is just as good as their old ones.
The Game is about a 400 year old clue from Sir Francis Drake. The Main Character Nathan Drake believes that he is a descendant of Sir Francis Drake. Anyway Nathan Drake finds an old book from Francis Drake's coffin. In the book are clues that lead to the treasure of El Dorado, and Drake sets on a quest to find that Tresure.
When it comes to finding Treasure, there is also gonna be trouble, and Drake quickly find out that he is not the only one looking for the treasure of El Dorado.
Now a lot of haters out there are saying that the game is a rip off from Tomb Raider and Gears of War. Sure the environments are similar to Tomb Raider and yes the combat is similar to Gears but its entirely diffent game if not better than Tomb Raider.
The gameplay is so easy to get used too. The controls are practically pick up and play. You adapt to it pretty quickly. Now im not saying the controls are perfect, I did find one small problem with the controls but it wasn't a big deal.
The visuals in the game are just fantastic. One of the best looking games on the PS3 by far. The evironments in that game are stunning. The water looks so real, and the textures on walls and on old monuments are also stunning. You would have to play this game to appreaciate these super high end visuals.
Now it will take you around 10 to 12 hours to beat this game. well thats how long it took me. You will find yourself stuck in some parts of the game that will leave you scratching your head, but im sure you will get through. There is also some puzzle solving but it aint that hard trust me, you just have to look in that little book you got from Drakes Coffin.
Hands down, Uncharted Drakes Fortune is one game that I can play over and over again. Graphics, Gameplay, Story, Controls, everything is great in that game. Every PS3 Owner out there should own this game. Great job Naughty Dog. I am looking forward to whatever your next game may be, whether it be a sequel to Uncharted or a new Jak and Daxter.
