Naughty Dog's years of devolopment for this PS3 game have proven to be worthwhile. They have created a true next gen game. First introduced at E3 2005, Uncharted Drake's Fortune was somewhat overlooked by big games such as Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid. The final product for the game surpasses the trailer and rivals Hollywood films.

Graphics in Uncharted are simply amazing. Naughty Dog has invested many hours in their graphics engine and it gleams of quality. Every texture being hand drawn, creates a type of realism usually not seen in game. The lighting system is also very complex and portrays lighting in a realistic way. The water effects in the game are drool worthy. The character models and environment are stunning.

The sound effects in Uncharted sound exactly how they should. The voice acting in Uncharting on the other hand is perfect.

Whether its mowing down flanking enemies with your shotgun or hitting lethal melee combos on your enemies, the gameplay is always fun. Fined tuned controls and a somewhat balanced variation of exploring/ problem solving keeps the gameplay fresh.

When Naughty Dog started developing the story for Uncharted. They took many idea from books, movies, and have created a truly cinamatic and seamless gaming experience. With the power of the PS3 the characters come alive in ways never before. These Likable and believable characters really engage you in the story. This game is what you'd expect from a movie. Uncharted truly delivers and only leaves gamers yearning for more.
