RPGfan : Shadow of Destiny Coming to PSP

Chris Winkler writes "Konami is working on a PlayStation Portable release of Shadow of Memories (Shadow of Destiny in the US). The mystery adventure was originally released in early 2001 as one of Konami's first offerings for Sony's (back then) new PlayStation 2 hardware. No details regarding potential enhancements or new features of the portable version have been announced so far."

4 - Great news
The bad news is I only just bought it second hand last month... But my 60GB ps3 isn't running it that well, it's all twitchy, especially cut-scenes, so I'll still get it.

Loved the original. Does this mean it might be getting a sequel some day?

7 - I am probalby the only one on here that...thinks the original was very so so
back then i felt i was cheated out of my 50 dollar -_-... i was still in high school back then and I saved up lunch money to buy it, left a bad taste in my mouth. It felt like it wasn't worth the 50 dollar.

Speaking of Konami, on the other hand, they should remake this game for hte PSP. It's called Ring of Red. You guys can look it up on youtube. one of the best Strategy RPG made, still holds up its gun to the big boys today with its unique style of 1 mech, 3 foot soldier squad.

8 - i still own the original PS2 version
it looks like ass running on my PS3, but it's a great game nonetheless. one of my favorite adventure games of the PS2 era.

a PSP version is great news.

at the time, it was a unique game, and, truthfully, it would STILL be considered a unique game looking at how the market is flooded with shooters and derivative rip-offs.

i'll certainly be looking into this one

9 - Hell Yes!
This is the top candidate on my list of games that deserve a sequel or remake. The game itself had some flaws (somewhat harsh on the edges and the length could have been longer(also puzzles could have been harder)) but the plot blew me away.

Seriously, After something like 5 years I finally got my hands on the original copy of the ps2 version (its like some sort of holy grail these days) I had loaned it from my friend before and hated myself for not buying it at that time.

Hopefully this is a remake with additional gameplay or plot. If it is its a definite must buy for me.

10 - Great game
I bought this when it first launched and loved it. The multiple endings and crazy plot are awesome.

Hope they add some new stuff too.

May buy a psp for this one.
