New F1 2009 Screens

Codemasters has today released new screens from F1 2009, ahead of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix this weekend.

The screens show off England's Silverstone track, home of the British Grand Prix, where Jensen Button hopes to bring home his seventh win of the season this weekend.

I'm sure Codies are pretty annoyed that there game won't feature rawn GP, Ferrari, McLaren, Renault, Toyota, BMW Sauber, Red Bull Racing and Toro Rosso now that they've pulled out of F1 next year to make their own championship.

Doesn't look half-bad considering the systems it's on, but I think I've been spoiled by Forza and NFS Shift screenshots at this stage.

If PD is able to incorporate more F1 cars in GT% then they'll pretty much render this game useless I'm afraid.

Hardly, PD only has rights to the cars, not the drivers, sponsors etc.

However the bigger question here is that will F1 still be going by the time this game is released seeing as the 8 biggest teams could quit in the very near future over stupid rules with the budget cap
