One's a Focke-Wulf 190, the other is a Messerschmitt BF109. Oh, and the American one is a P-51D.

I loved this on the PC, and I know they're not releasing it on the PC...yet, but you have to admit that it looks pretty darn fine on the consoles. It's as smooth as it's always been it seems.

Sorry, what? This isn't getting a release on the PC? Ye gods. I figured that anything from the IL-2 Sturmovik lineage would.

Gutted it wont be on PC :(. The screen look awesome though, not the little bit of damage on the right wing of the German plane in the last screen.

Its things like that that make me kiddy like a school girl over games :)

It won't be on the PC as the developers are working on a new sim called Storm of War: Battle of Britain which is due for release around Q3 2010. This game is made by different developers who licensed the existing IL-2 game engine for a console version and if its even half as realistic as IL-2 on the PC it will be the best flight sim on a console to date.

Sadly those days are gone for PC's too. I remember buying a Microprose sim meant you got a glossy 500+ manual in a big box, it made you feel like you got your moneys worth from it. Still have my original Falcon 4.0 manual.
