PSP Outsells DS Tales of Sales

It's no shocker to long-time series fans that Namco-Bandai has been releasing Tales of games left and right lately. Five games were released in 2008, with a sixth game that was announced last year just being released.

After sales figures showing Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2, a spin-off, selling more than a main series game, Tales of Hearts, Tales Union looks into how the deluge of Tales of releases might be affecting the series's sales as a whole, and what they can do about it.

I think it was found that the same thing also applies with Final Fantasy games too.

It's kinda ironic, considering the Nintendo DS is heralded for the install base, yet in terms of sales, games outside of the casual market seem to sell better on the PSP.

And what I don't understand is that some of the most popular series are seeing better sales on the Sony platform but developers seem to ignore the consoles.

Honestly, are sales figures not proof enough that many series succeed on the PS platforms over the others.

i am not saying ditch titles for the Wii or 350 or DS, but the PSP (and possibly PS3) are good areas of revenue... use them.
