Ultimate mode is insane! It doesnt give you any breaks. Also, the best weapon is the multi-directional crossbow.

Is this the same version that came out on UMD a few years ago?

If so, I was interested in the game back then; I recall the reviewers griping about how it was REALLY hard, and therefore REALLY frustrating. But then again, it IS G&G...I've always found that game a pain in the a$$.

But twenty bucks sounds too expensive for this title, no?

EDIT:
@DrWan

Looks like we're on the same page about this one. Nice to see you back in the lab coat...but err, I think it'd be a pretty safe bet that I'd bust right through the wall if my MD entered the exam room in a black balaclava.

Dr. to patient: "Now you listen to me: You're now going to turn around, drop your pants, and enjoy every excruciating minute of this!...Do you hear me???...say, "yes Dr....YES DR.!!!...Say it, SAY IT NOW, DAMMIT!!!"

3.1 - lol torch..
i was just going to comment on how hard of a game G&G is. ALL OF THEM i think and this one looks to be even MORE frustrating. i really like how they added the "climb" feature when he's close to an edge though. but damn i remember these games would drive any sane man to the brink of insanity lol :(

4 - Prepare
To throw your psp out of a window with the frustration that this game will bring you!

One of the funnest games I have ever played but easily the hardest game I have ever played.

Hardest game you ever played? How long have you been gaming? Super G&G on the SNES was WAYYYYY tougher! as were a lot of older games without saves and infinite continues... OK, and now I feel old =p

I'm on the verge of doing that right now, with trying to get through friggin' Killzone: Liberation...

Nicely polished, addictive game and all, but MAN do some of those set-pieces drive me up the wall!!!

The (literally) Hit-and-miss aiming system doesn't help either.

5 - Nice!
I've been waiting for this to come to 360, now that tax season is upon us I will buy a PS3 just for this... and Metal gear... and Kill zone 2.... and GOD of War III. My Ps3 will complete my hunger. plus the DC mmo coming in dec. is a must. I've owned 3 xbox 360's and it's time for a system that is cutting edge plus reliable. PS3 you do have xbox fans switching over!

7 - Great game
took me weeks to solve. The only way I did it was to go for the 30 lives=infinite lives exploit. 20 bones is too much though.

I loved Ultimate on the PSP, kept me going for quite a while. I strongly disagree with it's difficulty though. Sure there were frustrating bits but it pales compared to Super G&G on the SNES.

From recent generations, I would still count Shinobi on PS2 as toughest game and yes I completed Ninja Gaiden Black on Master Ninja mode.

But back to Ultimate G&G, it has some great powerups, I specifically liked the blue suit of armour that allows you to fly. If you liked the previous games, you'll like this.

get back to me when I can actually PLAY this on my PS3. If I can I would already have 100 PSP games stored on, I own a PSP but I just hate portable gaming, always have always will.
