New Jak game is a PSP title

With Uncharted 2 formally announced,you'd have to be a doorknob to think they can pull off 2 AAA quality CONSOLE games at the same time considering their team size and development costs.

It makes perfect sense if it's a PsP title,heck,they may not even be the developers of the game.

And lastly,Daxter absolutely rocked on PsP,so it's a given fact that Jak&Daxter can translate perfectly onto Sony's award winning handheld.

Oh please now, I do have a PSP but I'd like to play Jak in HD. It's not too much of a problem if the game comes out for PSP, but I would be a little disappointed.

Considering their are 2x as many PSP owners than PS3, I am sure alot of people will be happy. I am getting a PSP for x mas and really only have about 3-4 games I really want to play before Resistance comes out. So bring on Jax and Patapon 2.

I'd like this to happen too, but I already know that they shouldnt release anything else until the PSP is a completely secure platform, otherwise third party developers will stay away just like now. Games like Dead Head Fred and heck even Tomb Raider: Anniversary are solid titles for the platform, but they just arent viable due to security issues. Sony seem to have hardware security down with the refresh of the PSP(the new 3001 series that has a new cpu). However there is still the problem of the media that the games are played on, which the digital distribution takes care of. So what about all the people that keep their phat PSPs and 2001 series, so they can play ISOs? I hate to see such a capable portable console go to waste, but I think only releasing a new secure (maybe PSP2) will fix the problem. One thats capable of playing PSP games, as well as PSP2, but not vice versa. For me and me only, I think it would be nice if the new rumored Jak game was a launch title for a new PSP2.

Qdog, I agree with your statement about the piracy issue on the PSP. If they go the PSP route then I wouldn't mind it being available on the PSN store for direct download. I prefer them go the PSN route and give us just a taste of Jak in HD.

I would like it to be a PSP2 title (if that was the case) but its either going to PSP or PSN.
