February: Releases to look out for

There are lots of interesting (and not so interesting) titles scheduled for release in February and I'm going to give you some pointers on which ones to look out for.

Mario Slam Basketball ~ Platform: DS ~ Release: 16 February 2007
Mario and friends have taken to the basketball court in this title. It utilises the touch screen for controls never seen before in a basketball game, users carry out tricky dribbles, special passes and awesome shots all with touches of the stylus. Players pick their team of 3 from a number of characters from the Mario universe and can play against friends on a local network or play again an AI team. However, this is no ordinary basketball game, as with lots of Mario games, there are special power ups to collect which can turn the tide of any game!

Toca Race Driver 3 ~ Platform: PSP ~ Release: 16 February 2007
Codemasters are bringing the hit racer to the PSP for the first time. With officially licensed cars, world famous tracks and an all new game mode - The World Challenge - this has potential to be one of the best racing games on the platform. It has it's very own damage system making bodywork realistically deform with every impact, from flapping doors to shattered windows so remember to drive safely!

Crackdown ~ Platform: Xbox 360 ~ Release: 23 February 2007
Gamers have to enforce justice in anyway possible in the crime-ridden Pacific City, the first ever truly 3-D playground. Enter an interactive world where anything can be used as a weapon as you clean up the streets the only way you know how. Your way. The game has a rather unique presentation turning it into a living graphical novel.
